A Mountain Getaway Packed with Cozy Treats & Big Views

We had a truly wonderful family stay at Tranquility Peaks Chalet. The location couldn’t be better as it was peacefully tucked away in the mountains yet only a quick 20‑minute drive to Blue Ridge. The property itself is spectacular! It is beautifully maintained, incredibly comfortable, and thoughtfully furnished with plenty of cozy seating and lounging areas. The hosts added thoughtful touches that added to our overall experience. The waffle bar and hot cocoa station were such a delightful way to start the mornings, and the s’more station was an absolute favorite for the kids. After a long day of exploring, the large jacuzzi was the perfect place to unwind, and having both indoor and outdoor fireplaces made relaxing effortless. And the views were simply gorgeous! Whether we were sipping coffee on the deck or watching the sunset, it never got old. We highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful, beautifully appointed mountain getaway.

Wonderful place to stay for a much needed break from the daily grind. The views were to die for. I arrived late at night, went straight to one of the two balconies and took a shot using the night feature on my camera and I could not believe it. Beautiful. I kept finding myself saying wow. The outdoor fireplace and grilling area, the swing near the jacuzzi, all the little extra touches all around the house, snacks, hydration powder, coffee, pancake station, cocoa. The host is very helpful and responsive to questions. No issues getting in or checking out. Very clear checkout instructions. Loved being able to wash clothes, as my bf had to catch a plane and it made it nice for packing for him. The ONLY two downfalls for me were 1. some nearby construction (but honestly it didn't really impact my stay much, just some noise in the background while I did puzzles.) and 2. I didn't get to see a bear which I really hoped for. Just wanted to see one go by while I sat there safely on the balcony. My guy had work in the area and I wanted to relax and do nothing. I spent all my time on the balconies doing puzzles, sitting in the sun and reading or scrolling FB. Nights were spent grilling and sitting by the fire having a few drinks. I left relaxed and refreshed. Thank you so much! I will be back!
