Our Hunting trip.
A really great Lodge. Quiet, peaceful and secluded. The decorations were outstanding. Quite a few steps inside, for us elderly, but well worth it. Outstanding!
Great home with lots of clever touches. The beds are comfortable and the showers are great. A nice dock with kayaks (paddles in the barn). Tabitha made it super easy to get in and get out. We’ll be back!

If you want to experience complete serenity out in the middle of nowhere, but still close enough to town this is the place. My husband and my self were able to host our grown children in our two grandchildren. We got exactly what we came for bonding family time getting close to nature we kayak we walked the trails and forged for wood had s’mores and sang around the campfire. It was everything we imagined and more. The kitchen was well appointed with everything you would need to prepare meals. we were also supplied with more than enough essentials, toiletries, towels, etc. we will definitely be seeking this place again. The host responded right away to our needs only one heads up. You don’t want to be in the shower when the dishwasher or laundry is running, but that soon became part of the fun.

The house was clean and the property was beautiful. Had a great time kayaking the creek. For anyone planning on wade fishing the goose creek. It is not possible. It's a silt bottom creek that you will sink deeply. You can easily kayak down stream a mile or so to the convergence of the Manistee and wade from there.
