We had plenty of room to relax and enjoy. We have friends who live on the lake and it was super easy for them to pick us up on the boat. Loved the location!
Check in was a little different. No clear instruction to message host directly, but once I did, I got a prompt response. Enough room for 5 men to rest comfortably. Close to entertainment and a beautiful property!
This house was great! The location is fantastic right next to boat rentals and in a quiet neighborhood. If you want a small drive, 30 minutes East is Roanoke Rapids where there is lots of food and a distillery. 30 minutes West there are wineries. A 12 minute drive gets you into Littleton to visit Timber Waters brewery. Food Lion is a 5 minute drive and there are several restaurants close by. I would definitely recommend this as your Lake Gaston rental!
Great house with lots of nice touches--coffee bar in the kitchen, charging station, game control for the kids, etc. The host was very responsive to the issue we had. Highly recommend the property.
Amazing location! Smooth check in - Chris even noticed we arrived about 10 mins before check in and messaged us that he had activated the lock for us. Great space for families. Kitchen was perfect for cooking for a group. We also rented Chris’ pontoon boat and that process was also smooth and the boat well maintained. Easy access to the boat/water and the marina for gas and air for the tube. Easy to run up the road for groceries. ABC store, and quick meals. Highly recommend this property!
Upon arriving we immediately noticed how clean and fresh the property was and smelled! Every detail was attended to, down to kitchenware for children and dog bowls. We did not bring our pets with us but if we had all of their needs would have been met. We did travel with our 2 year old toddler and the property was easy for him to navigate without fear of hurting himself. The neighborhood was extremely quiet and well maintained. The property was easy to find and located close to a Grocery store and restaurants. We brought our boat and the owners were very helpful with giving information on where to drop the boat and the use of their well maintained slip. This is an ideal rental for a family trip!
The house was exactly as described. Pictures were accurate. The king size bed was very comfortable. Game room was great for the kids. Only bad thing I could say was the couch wasn’t comfortable and had a lingering dog smell. I knew the home accepted pets so it was not a huge problem for us. You can walk to the boat and the dock area of the lake. People at the lake and in the housing area were very friendly. It is far out from everything else. We never found much to do besides the lake so plan for rainy days ahead of time.

If you like Pier One, this is like stepping into their catalog. Tips - the Development is called Eaton's Crossing (look for the etched rock, on the roadside entrance.) This street did not yet appear on our nav or on Google maps, so be aware you may experience some difficulty finding the enclave. Bear right BEFORE reaching the wrought iron gated community (those being single family homes). There is no street lighting (as in pitch black at night), so do try and arrive during daylight hours.Pack - laundry detergent, bug spray (lots of it), Windex, wipes (wood and kitchen surface ones), iron and a mini ironing board if you have special events to attend where you must press clothes. If you are NOT bringing or renting a boat, there is a foot bridge to the right of the covered dock slips which will allow you to cross to the other side of the inlet on foot (wear sneaks or hiking sandals) to enjoy dining at the newly opened One Eyed Jack's (P.S. don't order the Braised Short Rib Poutine, it was horrible, but other items were tasty.) Master bedding will lull you to sleep instantly, but beware the mattress is so soft you may wake up with a stiff back. Well appointed kitchen ready for the cook among you. Fabulous run of counter space awaits you in MB.Other suggestions were privately made to the owner to make the experience a ten for future guests.
Great location! We love this residence since its so close to the marina where we store our boat. Its also a short boat ride to Watersview Restaurant, which is our favorite spot on the lake for dinner. We will definitely be back.
