Welcome to CAROLINA HAVEN - a unique paradise that truly has it all. Beautiful, spacious A-frame situated close to the water with exceptional views of the lake - both from the inside of house, the wrap around deck and the exceptional TWO TIER Dock. This paradise is perfectly positioned right off the main lake at between marker #5 and 6 for easy access by water or by land. Located on a quiet cove with calm, glass like waters - perfect for swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding. The two tier dock is an experience of its own - where you can enjoy drinks at the Tiki bar, wade in the 1 foot deep water at the bulkhead or get adventurous and jump off of the top dock into 14 feet deep water. If wakeboarding, tubing and skiing. is more your plan - just 1/4 mile away is the main lake for the fast action. In side this spacious haven you will find a fully stocked open kitchen, 4 spacious bedrooms including two main bedrooms, an inviting living room area with fire place and a game room for the kids with fooseball, knock hockey and board games. Right outside the house you can relax in a shaded breezy hammock, freshen up in the outdoor shower, roast smores at the fire pit or read a book in the screened in porch. Located just a 5 minute drive from town for grocery shopping, pizza, shopping and more. This lakehouse truly has it all. Fees include cleaning fee, fresh linens and paper products. Amazing

Spring break 2024. Took my kids and grandkids, and friends to this lovely home and had a blast. The lake activities were fabulous. The owner of property, Joe, was very easy going, understanding and just a text away. Will be back!

For families that love hanging out on the dock, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, and fishing, this place was wonderful. The dock was double decker with plenty of room, and deep water to jump off the top. There was also an amazing outdoor shower under the stairs. The view was great too, and the lot was beautifully treed and private. There were two large king bedrooms (a rare find at the lake) and they were very comfortable, an added bonus. One extra large bathroom was on the second floor with the two kings. The queen and bunkroom were on the main level. They were on the smaller side but suited our needs. There was a second full bath on the main floor. There was enough seating for all nine of us to sit around for dinner and plenty of inside and outside hang out spaces. The kids loved the arcade game in the basement. The basement was alittle smaller than it appears in the pictures, but served us well (we did not use as a sleeping space). The kitchen was galley style so a little tight for two spolied cooks, but well stocked and plenty of fridge space (there was even an extra under counter fridge that we didn’t realize for a couple of days). The owner was especially responsive and pleasant- I’d say above and beyond for us as our car broke down the day before checkout. Note: If this ever happens to you, call Lake Gaston Auto Repair. Thanks for the wonderful stay- we very much enjoyed it!

Weekend at the lake house

This spacious home provided a perfect getaway for our two families. The living space had several areas to interact, either all together or separate if desired. Bedrooms were well appointed with kids in the bunk room and parents with their own room. Bathrooms were large and had plenty of hooks and space for your stuff. The kitchen had everything we needed plus a separate beverage cooler! We enjoyed lunch on the back deck, we sipped coffee on the rooftop boat house by the propane fire table, we made a fire in the firepit at night, the kids rode their scooters in the cul de sac. I could go on and on with the positive aspects of this home. I would highly recommend and would rent again in a heartbeat.

An Epic Retirement Celebration

An unforgettable time was had this past weekend at Lake Gaston. The grand finale of our retirement celebration took place with family and friends. We created lifelong memories. The home was a perfect space for hosting with an abundance of delicious food, refreshing drinks, heartfelt laughter and fun. Our guests drove from Georgia, Virginia, and all over North Carolina to be with us and share in the joy. EVERYTHING was perfect. The beds were comfortable, the linen and towels were hotel quality. The kitchen amenities were fabulous and clean. We had more than enough sleeping space. An easy check-in and check-out process. The homeowner communicated very timely and was very accommodating. The location of the home was on a quiet street and not too far from hotels for our guests. We had sufficient parking space. We will definitely will return!

This was the perfect house for our ladies weekend! We had plenty of space, spent the day down at the dock and used the kayaks. The kitchen had all we needed and we loved the fire pit! Everyone hopes we will go back!

Great location on lake

The house is in a great location and the dock has everything. Boat lift, top deck with opening gate to jump into water. Also a propane fire pit on top deck. Spent most of are time on deck.

Great place to stay. Off the main lake where it is safe for the kids yet a couple hundred yards to the main lake. Kids love jumping off the upper deck. This was our 2nd time staying here and we will definitely be back.

Guys fishing trip

Superb place, immaculately clean as always. 6th year back for our group of 8 fishing trip. Joe is super responsive and accommodating. This place has everything you need for a stay on the lake. Looking forward to year 7 already!

We didn't want to leave

We had a fabulous week at this property. What a great location on the lake. We spent almost every day on the dock fishing or playing games and relaxing. This location was a wonderful halfway point for family in Florida and New Hampshire. Lots of space to be together and space to go off and read or watch your favorite show.

Terrific Lake House

This place was fabulous! We enjoyed the beautiful house and the lake view was so great from the two story deck. We had many happy hours lakeside! Kristin was helpful with the reservation and Joe was just a phone call away the five days we were there! He was so humorous and helpful my friends (all in our 60’s) were calling him my BFF. Young and old would absolutely enjoy this beautiful lake property! I’d love to have my family gather there. Thank you very much for the memories we made there.

Gorgeous home, amazing views

We stayed at this gorgeous lakehouse for my mother-in-law's 75th birthday, along with my wife, our two small children, and my sister-in-law and her two kids. It was perfect for us, and met the needs of my wife's mother who has mobility challenges, by having a bedroom and bathroom on the first floor. The house was clean, well furnished, and the lake views were incredible. We made use of the kayaks available, and they really made for a great weekend out on the water! Would highly recommend!
