5 Bedroom Waterfront Lakehouse with Kid's Play Area, Canoes, Pool Table and Wifi

Plenty to do for the whole family! Large waterfront lot on main lake with beautiful lake views and oversized boat dock with rubber bumpers. You can fish and swim safely off the oversized dock. Take in the beautiful sunset over the lake while enjoying the fire pit. Use of canoe and kayak is included - life jackets are provided, and it is mandatory to wear them when using the kayak or canoe.

Solid hardwood floors in main level great room. Tile floors in kitchen and main and lower-level bathrooms.

This 5 bedroom and 3 bath home is located on the edge of Main Lake in desirable Buckhead subdivision - less than 10 minutes off exit 4 I85. Convenient use of the neighborhood boat ramp only a few doors down. Just a short boat trip to Holly Grove Marina for boat rental, gas, bait and groceries. Enjoy the main lake views and safety of swimming right off the boat dock!

Outdoor seating is provided around the firepit, as well as on the large main level deck.

Main level great room has vaulted ceilings, stone fireplace, large sofa, chairs, coffee table, TV, and a lakeside wall of glass to enjoy the gorgeous views of the lake. Also in the main level great room is the dining table that seats 8 & is adjacent to kitchen bar with four barstools.

There is a dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave, and refrigerator in the main level kitchen. The kitchen on the main level also has a coffee maker, toaster, blender, pantry and is well stocked with plates, bowls, glasses, coffee mugs, silverware, pots and pans, and kitchen utensils.

Very large main level deck with lakeview, large gas grill, patio table and chairs, and electric awning that covers the full length of the deck. Propane for gas grill on main level deck is included. Toddler picnic table is also on the deck for the little kids.

Lower level has pool table, barstools, large king sleeper sofa, two chairs, TV and sliding glass door that walks out to large lakeview wood patio with outdoor furniture provided to relax with morning coffee or watch the kids swim down at the boat dock. Awesome lakeview from lower level wood patio; also the perfect place for roasting marsh-mellows over the fire pit in the evening moonlight. There is a washer, dryer and refrigerator in the laundry room on the lower level.

Lower level concrete side patio has small table and chairs to enjoy an afternoon beverage while you watch the kids climb around and go down the slide in the kid's play area.

House is child friendly and includes toys, use of board games, chess/checkers table and lending library.

Internet Broadband and WIFI Included!

Canoe and kayak available to use. Paddles included. Life Jackets are included.

Note: It's recommended to bring your own portable chairs to use on the boat dock. If you move my chairs down to the boat dock, then please be sure to secure them while they are down there and bring them back up when you are done. You will be charged $40 for every chair that is lost or damaged. If chairs are left at the boat dock, then you will be charged a $40 fee for the cleaning crew to move them back up. Thanks for your help with this item.

We had an excellent time at this Great Lake house. The rooms were spaced on three floors and had comfortable beds. We found everything we needed in the kitchen and enjoyed the space. But we spent the majority of time on the dock either swimming or fishing. We absolutely would stay here again.

Great Vacation home on the water!

My friends and I reserved this property for a quick reunion/fishing trip. There were plenty of beds and the view of the water was amazing! You can fish right from the pier and catch some pretty big catfish.

This home was great for a group of friends looking to get away to someplace peaceful for a weekend. Spacious, well-equipped, great dock for sunbathing and fire pit for s’mores! Quieter part of the lake, which was nice. We’ve talked about possibly coming back to the same house next year.

Our 2014 thanksgiving

We chose to stay at this lovely lake home for our Thanksgiving holiday. The house was immaculate and It Had a great kitchen to cook our Thanksgiving dinner. We had 7 adults and 4 children and still had room to sleep more!! The views from the house were stunning and since we brought our boat the dock was a great addition!! I would recommend this house to anyone for a family vacation. The owner is very nice and easy to work with. We will definitely stay there again!!

Gaston Lake Weekend

We had a lot of fun! The house is decorated so nicely with furniture, wall hangings and other mementos. The upstairs master bedroom area is very cool. And the pool table was very enjoyable. Love the great room. A couple of the mattress pads in the lower level were gross and the floor down there made our bare feet black. Would love to have had a ladder on the outside end of the dock.

Excellent Family Lake House!

Fit our family lake vacation needs perfectly. Plenty of bedrooms and space. Dock space was plentifull for two jet skis and a pontoon boat. Had a lake matress and the had plenty of room to float and let kids swim and play. Kids caught tons of fish off the deck with glow worms :) Location on lake is great. Close by gas station/marina convenient. 20 min ride to Shady Shack and short run around point for sunset rides in the evening:) There are a bunch of steps down to the water, but its not that bad. Great place to launch kids for water skiing, knee boarding, wake boarding and jet skiing. We had a great experience!!

very beautiful home and the lake was also nice.

We first signed up as having 18 guests then 9 had to back out last minute. Which was for the best because it would have been to cramped. I would not recommend children under the age of 8 due to so many steps. You would have to have someone watching their every move. The play area is open on one corner where a small child could fall in a ditch. Also the walk way to the dock had some missing lights as well as the dock but over all the house was well equipped. And very comfortable. We did not have to contact the owner after we got the instructions on how to get inside. The use of the kayaking was great too. The older grandchildren loved it. The house was very clean. I would recommend this lakehouse to my friends.

The house views of the lake and lake proximity were great. Very family friendly. Especially for our grandkids, who are five year old twin boys. They loved the swing set and toys. We loved the pool table. The community boat dock was very convenient, just a few houses down and was easy to launch our boat. The house's dock is large and spacious. Plenty of room for everyone to sit and fish. A couple comments around the cleanliness, mainly around two bathrooms, one on the main level and the other one on the lower level. Both had black mold on the shower curtains. The mattress covers/toppers were not clean. I am not sure if these were the hosts or if someone left them since you need to bring your own linens. There are a lot of stairs too getting into the main level and going down from the deck to the dock(the steps down to the dock are very wide, so easier to go up and down). If you are older, as I am, this may pose a bit taxing(especially unloading all your stuff into the house). The driveway is steep. Not an issue with us getting in or out. Just noting it incase you have a boat or trailer. There is a space up at the top of the driveway to park your boat/trailer. We enjoyed our stay and created a lot of great memories with our family.

Lovely property with enough room for all the family. Wonderful being right on the lake. The only complaint was the cleanliness. The cleaning crew need to do better job with cleaning the floors, cleaning handprints off glass doors and back of shower curtains. Also outside areas need to be cleaned. Other than that, great vacation!

Another great stay at this house! This has become the perfect retreat for our summer getaway. This house has the perfect. “just lay back and relax” vibe. Lounge in the lake during the day, grille up some dinner, then, back to the dock to enjoy the night sky. Can’t wait to go back.

Christmas family gathering

We decided to give our families a vacation instead of presents this year and we were coming from DE, MD, and SC. This was a great location for driving.The house is amazing with beautiful views of the lake. The layout was perfect with three different levels for three families. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans , dishes etc. the outside deck is beautiful and leads down to a very nice dock. The pool table was a request from my husband and we all had a good time with that. The table and chairs are great for eating and playing games which was also on our wish list. Michael was very responsive to our TV glitch and communication has been excellent. The summer has to be the best season to rent this house so keep this place in mind.

We enjoyed our stay at the HUGE house in Bracey. Everything is accurate regarding the post. I would say there are some improvements to safety I'd suggest. The stairs leading to the porch has a huge 3 foot hole on the side, a small child could easily fall through. There were nemerous nails on the dock that needed to be nailed down. One of the bouy's came loose as it was old and floated away. There are other signs of wear and tear on the house but we managed just fine. Great location, neighborhood dock was super close, gas station/coffee shop close by. Beds were very comfortable and plenty of room and fun was had in the basement with the pool table and firepit. Overall a good stay, minor improvements suggested.

Excellent view, kids enjoyed swimming, easy access from the dock. Plenty of space available…overall a nice property to enjoy quit time, however I would strongly recommend to change the cleaning crew. The kitchen was not clean at all, dirt was on the counters, floor and cabinets. Other than the above deficiency, we did enjoy the house. Thank you

Second Time Stay

Love location of property to the lake. Coming down dock ladder you can stand up. Going around dock it becomes deeper and can enjoy paddling in a tube, be on a raft or start swimming. The house is spacious and offers the amenities as listed. Would be great to have a ladder at the deep end and the existing ladder needs to be replaced. Very wobbly and hard to get up.

Comfortable and Plenty of Space

Our group spans a good part of the east coast with guys traveling from Savannah up to Long Island once a year to meet up. This location was ideal in that it could accommodate everyone comfortably and had plenty of room for parking our vehicles. The house was clean and spacious. The views were great. The property was a very peaceful.

Why they chose this property

We love this property and this house. It is perfect for our family. It is right on the water and the main lake views are gorgeous.

We love sitting out on the large main level deck socializing, grilling, and eating while taking in the beautiful lake view. The house has a lot of natural shade from the tree cover, and if more is needed, then we use the electric retractable awning.

We also spend a lot of time at the boat dock. It is a great place to fish and swim. It has an amazing main lake view and the protected section of water between the boat dock and shoreline makes for a great swimming spot for young kids.

The community boat ramp is only a few doors down so it is super easy to put your boat in the water and quick and easy to find our house from the community boat ramp.

The main level great room feels huge, with thirty foot ceilings and a wall of glass that is perfect for enjoying the main lake views.

The basement is a great place to shoot pool and watch a movie or football game, especially on rainy days.

The kitchen is open to the main room, so you can socialize and watch TV while you prepare meals.

The lay out of the house makes it a perfect choice for three families to rent together. Three of the rooms are well suited for couples while the other two rooms can sleep five kids each.

It's very convenient to have a second refrigerator in the basement, along with a washer and dryer.

The fenced outdoor kid's play area is wonderful for little ones.

There is plenty of room for parking and a separate area at the top of the driveway where you can park your boat trailer during your stay.

Also, the location made it a perfect choice for us, as we live in the Raleigh area and the lake house is an easy one hour and 15 minute drive straight up highway 85 and just passed the VA state line.

What makes this property unique

I love the feel of having an "A-frame type" main room with 30 foot ceilings and lots of glass on the lake side so you can enjoy the main lake view. We instantly fell in love with the house the first time we walked in to the main room and saw that. The stone fireplace in the room also adds a lot to the ambiance, and the open layout allows for everyone to be involved and feel connected, whether cooking in the kitchen, watching TV on the couch, or sitting at the dining room table playing a card game.
