Winnisquam Lake W/Dock & Walk In Sandy Beach Near The Sandbar

Very scenic and clean Lake Winnisquam rental available. One of the best lake locations - easy to get to and you are ON the lake with grass yard, deck and step down sandy beach. Near famous water sandbar (Near bridge) that you can take a short boat ride to and anchor for a fun afternoon. You also have use of the dock for the week and there are boat rentals across the bridge! Doesn't get any easier than that. SPACIOUS studio with full kitchen, dining and living area with beautiful new slider to waters edge. Gorgeous water views and direct lakefront! It is a great time during the summer on the lake but the fall is incredibly beautiful and there is so much to do including nearby hiking. The winter of course offers snowmobiling, skiing, cross country, snowshoe, tubing and other cold weather sports.
For those of us that like to shop - the Tanger outlets are a mere 4 miles away! Funspot is nearby at Weirs beach and of course Meadowbrook for those outdoor concerts! And for those that like to Golf - there is Lochmere Golf course within a mile! Gunstock mountain is 15 - 20 minutes away for zip line, walking and tree top adventures. (Sledding and skiing during the winter)
There is a fire pit available for your use for the cooler nights and roasting marshmallows! This is a duplex with sometimes owner occupied other side but it has it's own entrance and completely separate yard and parking etc...This unique waterfront property gives you flexibility and great options and features a tasteful open concept first level with a kitchen, dining, and living room (With open bedroom and pull out double couch) and new slider leading out to a private yard. Beautiful bathroom :)

Lake swimming wonderful

The cottage was just the right size and very clean. Chuck and Laura were perfect and more than helpful to us. We felt very welcome and would recommend staying there especially if you like swimming and paddle boating.

Great Location

This is in a great location. Store/Deli and Ice cream right next door. Close to the sandbar (we took the paddleboard over several times). Close to Tilton stores and restaurants. Beautiful private outdoor space.

Great Place to Book

Laura and Chuck were exceptional!! They greeted us when we arrived to go over everything and even had some essentials stocked up in the frig!! The A/C was great, place was very clean, had hot water constantly for showering and washing clothes. Bed was comfy, slept great every night! Country Store is literally next door, that was a bonus for us if you needed anything from a snack, coffee, sunscreen, alcohol, etc.., the parking was great for us as well since we had a large size vehicle and our trailer for the bike to store when we got back from riding.

Great Getaway

We had a great time during our week long stay! The house was very clean and well stocked with supplies. The hosts left a few basics in the refrigerator for us which was a nice touch. Laura and Chuck were extremely friendly and accommodating! The access to the lake and use of boat dock was exactly what we were looking for to use our boat. There is plenty of private parking for cars and a trailer. The location is great as far as being close to many attractions and amenities. The general store is directly behind the unit so it was great for the kids and to grab some quick snacks and food. The store does have a dock located directly next to the property so it was busy with boat and foot traffic during peak times over the weekend and lunch hours, but quiets down in the late afternoon. The space is comfortable. We brought an air mattress for our kids which worked out better for us than the pull out couch. Overall a very positive and fun experience. We would definitely stay again!

Great hostess!

Laura and Chuck were very responsive to our every need. They had a dozen eggs and a bottle of wine waiting when we arrived The home was clean and right on the water. Our son ejoyed the upstairs bedroom and fishing off the dock. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to New Hampshire.

I highly recommend this rental! Owners Laura & Chuck are very friendly and helpful. As a previous review said they are available if you need anything but respect your privacy. This rental is right on the water. Good size private yard. My family enjoyed sitting by the fire pit at night making smores and star gazing. Had fun using the paddle boat. We also rented a pontoon boat for a day at Winnisquam Marine right across the water from the house (house has a dock you can use). Fun sandbar on the lake everyone hangs at. Great location near a lot and country store next door. Very clean; comfortable beds; fully equipped kitchen; washer & dryer; really everything we needed to have a great week. Would definitely rent again!!! Thank you!

You couldn't ask for a better retreat. Located on one of New Hampshire's beautiful lakes and close to all attractions in the lakes region. The hosts, great people. Warm, welcoming, very friendly, yet respectful of your privacy. If you need anything, there not far away to ask. Nor is the corner market, which is but steps away as well as lake Winnisquam. And your own private dock to park your vessel and go to the sandbar for the day. Accommodations are beautiful. All the furnishings of home and complete kitcken. As well as patio, grill, and place to have a campfire. Overall, an A+++, we ABSOLUTELY are returning to see them again. Thank you again Chuck and Laura, we really enjoyed our time with you. We loved staying here. It had more than I had hoped for... for instance... the fire pit... okay... maybe that's not a big deal to you... but it was for us... and the girls loved making 'smores' each night with it. The personal dock for my little boat... the view... the use of the pedal boat, and being close enough to the sand bar to 'pedal' over to it. What are you waiting for... stay here... just don't book MY week for next year!

Nice getaway to relax

We had a great time at this vacation rental. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, always adding nice surprises to help. Make our time there more enjoyable. The rental house was very comfortable and during the hot day of the week of July 4th, the house was cool and enjoyable. The lake is just outside the door and it is a short distance to a sandbar on the lake that is a hot spot to hang out with others vacationing at the lake. The rental is in a great location, close to all sorts of great places to eat and explore, we’ll be back soon

Great central location for exploring the area.

Really enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings on the lake. Both beds were very comfortable. The upstairs bedroom has some pretty steep steps so I wouldn't recommend it for everyone. Kitchen was stocked full of pots, pans, glasses etc. Shower was a bit tricky with the hot water but we figured it out. GREAT communication with Laura and Chuck. They are great and very accessible. We used the property as a central location for exploring. We did day trips. 2 hrs from the coast of Maine. 1 hr from the White Mountains. 1.5 hrs from Vermont. Plenty of antique shopping all around.

Everything you need plus location!

We had a lovely time staying at Laura and Chucks. It wasn't our first time and won't be our last. Great location in the no wake zone for kayaking and swimming. Nice decor and functionable inside but our favorite part was eating breakfast (and well every meal)outside on the patio looking at the soothing lake. Most nights we did a fire in the provided fire pit. Easy walk to mini golf or to rent a boat.

Great location

This is a great place to stay for relaxation on the lake. The living room slider is literally steps away from the water. Lots of activity to watch on the lake. Laura and Chuck are great - very concerned that anything we needed was there. Home is clean and tidy and the outside property has everything you need - very nice pergola with umbrella table and great lawn for sitting at the lake. We will stay again and highly recommend this lake front home.

Why they chose this property

Everyone who comes here loves it. It is very lively during the day and quiets down in the afternoons and evenings. We are in a no wake zone and have lovely swim area. Easy parking for 2 cars and boat trailer. Next to country market so easy grab and go and the neighbors go home in the evening:)

What makes this property unique

Very Convenient - easy access and in no wake zone. Not campy at all…. Year round home with beautiful bathroom and new slider to waterfront.
