Explore ALL the Shawnee National Forest has to offer at our peaceful and unique cabin near the Shawnee Wine Trail! We are near to hiking & biking trails, LaRue Pine Road, Holy Boulder, and Bald Knob Cross!
Come enjoy a spacious yet cozy cabin with 2 bedrooms each featuring a queen bed, closet, and dresser. Our loft featuring two twin beds will be a KID FAVORITE and an adult's one-of-a-kind night stay! One spacious bathroom features a beautiful marble shower for your relaxation. The open living space features a full-size kitchen, large dining table, washer/dryer unit, and a living room with sleeper sofa for an extra bed.

This cabin is cute, rustic and tastefully decorated. The surrounding land is gorgeous forest and there is lots of privacy. The cabin was thoughtfully outfitted with everything we wanted and needed. The host was friendly and accommodating and we would absolutely stay here again!

We couldn’t have been more pleased with every aspect of our stay. The cabin and location were beyond our expectations!No detail was overlooked by the owners, and the note from the owners made our stay feel even more special!We talked many times on our 3 hour drive home about future visits to this wonderful cabin, and bringing our children next time. Wine Trail & Coziness

We came here to bring our daughter (22) to the wine trail for her birthday. We lucked out when we booked this little gem of a cabin for our trip. Amenities were beyond expectations, cabin was cozy, beautiful, and plenty of room for the 4 of us! We are definitely booking again!!

Bike Race Weekend

I came for the Dirty South Roubaix bike race while the rest of the family came to relax. This is just what we needed. 7-mi from Alto Pass. Quiet location. Modern conveniences.

Artfully crafted cabin

You want to stay here. You just do! The color scheme, fixtures, soft finishes, every detail was carefully curated. It’s cozy and quaint, it’s updated and turn key. You’re surrounded by the Shawnee national forest and hiking galore! We visited town in Alto Pass which was about a 15 minute drive to get out of the woods. Plenty of worthwhile stops there! A wonderful stay. We will be back and bring our kids to the adorable loft upstairs. Thank you for a flawless anniversary getaway!

In 2023 our family fell in love with this property for it’s beauty, quiet, and cool rocks! The creek beds that run through the property are normally dry and provide a unique playground for our kids. When we spent the whole day outside, our family knew this was our happy place to build a cabin and explore the Shawnee more!

We spent a year, weekends only, building and designing every detail and finally the Cabin at Cool Rock Creek is finished! We are so excited to share this unique and cozy cabin surrounded by beautiful forest for more to fall in love with the Shawnee like we did.

We hope you have a great time, and come back to stay soon!
