The Space:

The two-level log cabin in Carnelian Bay is a great place to stay while you enjoy North Lake Tahoe! No matter which time of year you visit, there are many nearby activities to enjoy!



After a day of activities, relax in the warm living room or family room with cable TV for your entertainment pleasure, or play a board game, mah joong or start a puzzle. Feeling like cooking a home cooked meal? The kitchen is fully stocked with essential cookware and dishware.



All 4 bedrooms are on the upper level, about 12 steps up. In the master bedroom is a queen bed. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a single. In the third bedroom are two sets of bunk beds. The smaller fourth bedroom has one set of bunk beds. The cabin can sleep up to 8 people. You're going to love it here!

The Neighborhood:

Agate Bay is a quiet, walkable Carnelian Bay neighborhood ideal for walking, hiking, and biking. Just a short distance away is National Forest access with trails that connect to the Tahoe Rim Trail and scenic spots like Brockway Summit with panoramic lake views.



In the summer, enjoy Lake Tahoe beaches just minutes away. Patton Beach is only a quarter mile from the home, with Tahoe Vista Recreation Area and Kings Beach less than 10 minutes away. Family fun is nearby at Magic Carpet Golf, and Old Brockway Golf Course is also close for a classic round.



In winter, the location offers easy access to top ski resorts including Northstar, Palisades Tahoe, Homewood, and Diamond Peak, along with snowshoeing, ice skating, snowboarding, and more.



Tahoe City is a 20-minute drive away, offering restaurants, shops, galleries, and lakeside attractions



Getting Around:

Closest highways are 28 and 267. Visiting in the winter? Most ski resorts are within 20 - 30 minutes away. You have many choices of top resorts for winter activities! The casinos at Stateline are also within 15 minutes away too.
