Beautiful lake house on Lake Champlain!

Enjoy spending time with family and friends in the great room with a Panton stone fireplace, every seat with a view out the large windows. Read a book on the covered deck or enjoy dining al fresco with the lake as your backdrop. BBQ, play games on the flat lawn, relax by the fire pit, fish, explore, so much to do. You are less than two miles from Basin Harbor Club, which offers tennis, boat rental, a championship golf course, restaurants and the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum. Drive 10 minutes into Vergennes for shopping, dining, an art gallery, antiques, bakery, library, churches, farmer’s market and a chocolatier, Daily Chocolate, a cannot miss for the chocolate lover! Burlington is 30 minutes north and Middlebury is 30 minutes south. Each with breweries to visit and too many events to name.

The home’s kitchen is fully equipped for your cooking pleasure. Linens and towels are provided with full use of the washer and dryer. See below for a detailed list of amenities.

Convenient one level living. Each bedroom has a lake view. The master has a queen bed with adjoining full bath. Guest wing with a queen bedroom and seating area for viewing DVDs and relaxing as well as a third bedroom with two twin beds share the second full bath. The seasonal bunkhouse has a twin over full bunk bed. Seasonal dock available July through October.

A beautiful lake front home

My family and I had such a wonderful stay at Mary's lakefront home. The views were amazing and we spent a lot of time out on the deck or by the water just soaking in the view of Lake Champlain. The house was spotless and kitchen fully stocked. Also so close to Middlebury, and Vergennes, and not too far to explore Burlington and Stow as day trips. Highely recommend staying here!

Let me tell you, this house is amazing. We spent a long weekend and the porch is amazing, the living room is amazing, the kitchen is great and the views are hard to leave. I even caught a northern pike right off the rocks right out the back door. We will be back for sure!

Location of the property was excellent. We attended a wedding at Basin Harbor and it was super convenient to all wedding activities. The house was perfect for our family of five adults. The lake was so peaceful and viewing the stars at night was our favorite activity.

What an incredible spot! The house was so comfortable and the deck overlooking the lake is a gem. It was 15 min to Vergennes which is a sweet little town. Would highly recommend!

Great getaway

We very much enjoyed our five-day stay at this house on Lake Champlain -- at one of the narrowest parts of the lake (NY is a kayak away). There's a high-ceiling living room, well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and it's a great area for runs/biking/walks. We very much recommend it.

Lake Champlain house

The house was spacious and very comfortable for six adults. We used it as home base to explore the many hiking/shopping/historical attractions in the area. The kitchen was well stocked and we prepared most of our meals there. The lake was easily accessible. Overall, we had a great time and hope to stay again next year.

Another Amazing Stay on Champlain

This was our 4th visit to this property. Access to the lake is unbeatable as you are right on top of it. You can fish, boat, relax, swim, etc. Sunsets are beautiful as the house is facing west. Vergennes is 18 minutes away and cute as can be. Host is responsive and accommodating. We will be back for a 5th stay in 2025!
