Great property tons of room. Very clean and having hot tub on the upper roof deck able to have great view of the ocean . Loved the fire pit as well in the lower yard. Neighborhood was quiet it was a great property.
Loved the house, having 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on each floor was the perfect layout for our mini family reunion. The hot tub on the upper deck was a huge bonus as well. We enjoyed quiet evenings watching the stars and exploring the local beaches and towns.
Overall we had a great time and appreciated the extra space for all of us, pet friendly home, good location for beach access and nearby grocery and shop locations. We also enjoyed the games, fire pit, hot tub, and great views from the decks. The home was clean, however we had an ant outbreak that required us to get ant traps and inconvenience/frustration of dealing with it. The owner was very responsive, and we agreed on the solution. Also, the water pressure in the upstairs shower was very low. I appreciate the owner being quick to respond to our issues which is not always what ive experienced with vacation rentals.
We arrived abt 40 mins after check in. There were 2 cars parked in the spots next to the house which confused us. We thought maybe ppl didn't check out yet so we tried the pass code & a man came out. Turned out they were not done cleaning the place. He told us it would be another 15 mins so we decided to look around the premises. We loved all the foliage in the yard, however the gazebo could have been more maintained. Also, the view & the breeze of the ocean was amazing! The cleaners finally left & we started bringing our stuff in. We noticed that there were some dog hair on the floor by the fireplace & the legs of the end table had some cobwebs. I did let the host know & he said good cleaners were hard to find. We loved how there was a bathroom on each floor. The large pots & platters were great since we did some cooking for our large group of 12. In the listing, there were no mention of a Keurig, but was grateful when we found that there was one! Unfortunately, the ice machine didn't work. We loved the patio & the bay windows, being able to c the sun set every evening! We also felt safer when we saw that the neighbor was a sheriff. The other thing was that the dumpsters were already full when we got there. I asked the host & he said to just put our garbage bags next to the dumpsters. We had checked out b4 the garbage trucks picked up so hopefully no animals got to them. The check out procedures were posted on both floors so that was very helpful!
I personally Didn't get in the hottub. At first sight I didn't like the house. I usually like modern homes. However as the rest of the family arrive. Everyone was able spread out, lots of games and entertainment. It was like staying at mom and dad's house. This is an older house but homey . My only complaint is the kitchen iights don't help brighten the already dark kitchen. Also the eating space was a challenge. Seating maybe for six. We shouldn't have bought a folding table. This would be great addition if owners would provide one , there is plenty of space to store it as weĺl as folding chairs. We all had a great time. I would stay here again., very special house.
We had a wonderful visit to the Oregon Coast, from our base in Lincoln City. This home is well organized for hosting a large family reunion. Each of our kids and their families had a floor to themselves. The two decks were perfect for whale and sunset watching! The game room for the kids was terrific! There is a lovely outdoor area for fire pits and bag toss, etc. The home is walkable to beach, coffee and groceries. End of day hot tubbing was a treat.

We had a lovely time with our children and grandchildren. The house was nice and big with three floors and rooms for everyone. We created lots of family memories and hope to return sometime in the future. Thanks so much!
