The Sportsman's Paradise Lodge is a newly constructed sportsman's vacation rental designed with your comfort in mind. All the amenities of home allow you to get away and relax without worrying about accommodations. You’ll love the peace and quiet. There's plenty of room for relaxing on the deck while grilling the day's catch. Big comfortable beds offer a great night's sleep. Couples, families, and big groups are welcome.

We offer fully guided Fishing Charters and Duck Hunts.

This is now our spot

The name says it all it's a sportsman paradise. This is our go-to vacation spot. This house is a destination—Just a block from the water and boat ramp. We are planning our next trip.

Fishing Good Time!!

The place is amazing!! All updated and sleeps a lot of people very comfortable. Everything was clean and organized. The owner Thad was very helpful and responded to any and all messages in a timely manner. Was a great place to get together with family and friends and fish.

Better than the photos

The first look of the outside of the house was nice definitely had the costal vibe. The porch lights had a nice cozy vibe. The first impression of the interior was way better than I had expected the cathedral ceiling and open living room kitchen floor plan was very nice. When we went to look at the bedrooms they were way bigger than the pictures and the lofts with the beds were super soft and comfortable. The porch area was nice and spacious. The fire pit area looked relaxing all though we didn’t get to use it. We will definitely be returning and staying again.

Sportsman’s Dream

This property is great for its intended purpose of several hunters/fisherman to go stay and have easy access to boat ramps just a short drive away. Great layout for lots of bed options and nice kitchen and common space. I will say, for me as a ride along, the place could use a deep clean and some bedding/pillow changes. But overall, nice option when down in seadrift!

Quiet Getaway

The hospitality and vibe of both the house and the owners were amazing. A really nice/quiet getaway with plenty to do both locally or 20 min north or south of the house (for more touristy stuff). In town, Terraza Mexican Grill won't disappoint (breakfast, lunch or dinner). The fishing guide service the owners provide is also a great experience--I would post pics if I could. :) We look forward to booking for many years to come!

Christmas at the Coast 2020

This was a perfect place for our small family of three to enjoy a fishing trip for Christmas. There was ample space for parking the boat. The home was cozy and comfortable and had so many comforts of home plus some. Thank you for the stay and memories made in Seadrift and POC. My wife and I live in the San Antonio area where we run an employment agency for individuals with disabilities. We love the outdoors and take every opportunity we get to go fishing, kayaking, hunting, camping or just relaxing under a warm sun with the cool breeze blowing.

Why they chose this property

I grew up fishing in Port Mansfield, but a five hour trip from San Antonio with the family severely limited our "Salt Addiction." A couple years ago we found Seadrift. Being only two hours from San Antonio made Seadrift ideal for regular family fun in the sun. We have had tons of great memories enjoying the outdoors and want to open up our home for others to create their own wonderful "salt induced" experiences.

This property is secluded and typically only homeowners frequent our location, making it peaceful and very comfortable with little distraction.
