About this property

ROCKY TOP VIEW Family/Couples Retreat Centrally Located Yet Tucked in the Woods

"We had an absolutely great time in this cabin, endless entertainment, beautiful views and super cozy! Loved every second of the time spent here." (The Wells Family 01/24)

As soon as you pull into the driveway of your cabin you will be awed by the view. Continue down to the deck and you may have a hard time looking away from it to check out the inside. Use your passcode provided on the keypad and walk into the main level, which is an open concept kitchen and living area. You will find the kitchen is fully stocked with most every large and small appliance you would find in your own home, along with a large variety of cooking and serving utensils. Make a cup of coffee to enjoy on 720 square feet of covered deck every morning, or use the blender for your favorite mixed drink at night (or in the middle of the day, who are we to judge). Enjoy Dollywood's seasonal fireworks and drone show from the comfort of the porch. Fill your cooler with help from the frigirator's ice machine before a long hike or picnic. Or head back outside for a BBQ on the park style charcoal grill (BYO charcoal). With a large kitchen table, large farm style table on the deck, and a picnic table, there are plenty of options for where to eat.

Enjoy the 70" television in the living area while relaxing on the sofa next to the fireplace after a day of adventure. Each television in your cabin has cable streaming, or use the Roku device to log into your own services to feel even more at home.

Continue walking down the hallway of the main level and find a private bedroom with a king size bed and a 43" television. You will also find a bathtub/shower in the full bathroom on this floor, as well as a full-sized washing machine and dryer.

In the game area downstairs you will find everything you or your family could desire to enjoy a fun get-away. Pool table, foosball table, ringtoss, more than 80 different board games and a large table for everyone to sit at and play. There is also another 70" television with a sofa sleeper, and another half bath so you can spend hours with uninterrupted entertainment! Then walk out onto the patio and enjoy soaking in the hot tub with views of the surroundings mountains. Walk down to the fire pit area where the firewood is already cut, stored, and waiting for you to use!

Opening the door to the upstairs loft bedroom makes the decision of where to sleep more difficult. With another king sized bed and 43" television it also adds a loveseat and arcade game table into the equation. The loft area also has a full bathroom of its own.

Rest assured during your stay as we are local owners with the ability to respond promptly to any questions or concerns you may encounter. Also, if you are planning your stay around any type of special occasion (birthday, anniversary, honeymoon, etc.) Let us know if we can help with the celebration!

The Fine Print...
-To maintain cleanliness and comfort for all guests, we do not allow pets of any kind.
-Our cabin is in the woods, and so the surrounding area is shared with critters and other wildlife.
Pest control comes once each month, but you may still encounter some insects or the like. Please
keep doors to the cabin closed when possible to prevent them from wanting to enjoy the
experience with you. Remember to always keep your vehicle locked, as our resident bears are
smart and always looking for a quick meal. They have been known to attempt vehicle break-ins.
-Speaking of bears, please never attempt to approach or feed any bears you may encounter. They
are beautiful and amazing animals to observe from a distance, but can be extremely
unpredictable, especially if they feel threatened. Feel free to contact us if you are interested in
learning if there were any videos of wildlife recorded during your visit!
-Garbage needs to be either placed in the bear proof cage or left inside at all times.
-There are a few exterior motion cameras in use on the perimeter or the cabin, used primarily
to monitor wildlife and theft. No cameras view the back deck or lower hot tub areas. No
cameras or recordings of ANY kind are located indoors. Cameras are not monitored 24hrs a
day.
-We will not provide refunds for events outside or our control, such as weather, power outages, or
natural disasters. If concerned about these types of occurrences, we recommend purchasing
travel insurance.
-There are windy roads that climb in elevation to get to the cabin. They are paved and should not
be any issue during most times. In the winter when snow or ice is present, 4WD and/or tire chains
are recommended. No one who has stayed here has reported any issues, and we are told
frequently, "The drive is well worth the view."
-Starter supplies include toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap and dishwasher tabs, one load of
laundry, hand soap, and towels. Longer stays may need to bring additional supplies.

Because of our love for the area and our cabin we recently moved and are local! This also gave us
the opportunity to start managing our cabin ourselves, so we are able to use the pride we have in our cabin to provide the personal touch you deserve. Some of the recommendations from previous guests in our cabin's journal include...

"There is so much to do at the cabin with these unbelievable views, why would we go anywhere else?" (Terry 03/24)
"The cabin was super clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. The game room is amazing. It was one of the reasons we chose this cabin. We love the privacy up here, being at the end of the drive with no cabins right beside us. The hot tub being down on the concrete, and not on a second story deck was what sealed the deal. Amazing view-both day and night. We would definitely stay here again!" (Steve & Omega 03/24)
"Our trip here met (and exceeded) our expectations. We have rented many properties and by far this was the cleanest, best stocked, best represented and overall lovliest home we've had the pleasure of vacationing in. I cannot get enough of the views and the hot tub was amazing as well." (The Torres Family 03/24)
"Thank you to the owners of this place for creating a special cabin nestled perfectly away but close enough! You've thought of everything. Truly a lovely trip. P.S. The cabin was sparkling clean!" (Molly 03/24)
