10/10 recommend! Such a great property! We had such a wonderful stay at this lake house! The home was beautiful, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location on the lake was absolutely perfect, and we loved being able to enjoy the peaceful scenery and spend time together as a family.Everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully set up. It truly felt like a home away from home. We had such a great time and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing stay up north!

We had a great stay. The house was exceptionally clean when we arrived, and the host was responsive and easy to communicate with from booking through checkout.The lake view is beautiful, and the master bedroom looks right out over the water, which made it a really peaceful place to wake up. The bedrooms stayed warm and comfortable. The sun room could get a little chilly, which is expected with that many windows, but the windows are one of our favorite things about the house and that room was still a highlight.The hot tub was awesome. The house was also well stocked with everything we needed, from blankets and towels to all kinds of kitchen utensils, so we didn't have to bring much or go without anything.Overall, a clean, comfortable, well-cared-for home with a great view. We'd happily stay again.

Relaxing getaway

The home was beautiful and you can't beat the view. Perfect space for adults and kids. Very clean and well decorated. Loved the sun porch. Great dock. The kayaks and paddle board was an added bonus. Would definitely stay again.

Great Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Booked this for a bachelor party. Went golfing one day at chestnut valley golf course and then canoeing the next day at Bear River Canoe. Blue Bird Lake house was a great spot to relax after a day of activities. Full grill for barbecuing. Shallow water great for wading, frisbee and football. The neighbors to the west were really friendly. Lots of space inside for cards and hanging out.

Our family truly enjoyed our stay on Crooked Lake. The renovations to restore the home were beautifully done. There were a few things that didn’t fully show in the listing…the bunk room is not a true bedroom which was a bit of a shock on arrival. It worked to have my young adult son in there alone but there is no closet or furniture other than the 3 beds. I’m thinking that perhaps given the location of this room (right off the kitchen) that this space was originally either a pantry or laundry room or storage room. Staying for 2 weeks in a bedroom with no place to store clothing was not ideal. He basically used the other beds to store his suitcase and belongings. I ended up buying a fan for the space because it was stagnant when the door was closed for privacy. The three bedrooms upstairs were nicely equipped but again, one of the bedrooms did not have a closet to utilize. It was locked for the owners. There is also no pantry in the kitchen to store food. These are not deal breakers but wanted to list this so future renters have a better idea of what to expect.The home was immaculate, the dock was perfect, location was fantastic, communication with the rental agency was phenomenal. Such a special place to enjoy time with family and friends.

This house is stunning and comfortably accommodated our family of nine. Great swimming right off the dock, and conveniently located across from a local pie bakery that makes the best sweet and savory pies I’ve ever had. Loved it!

We enjoyed our weekend stay at bluebird. We experienced a very rare emergency at 11 pm, but the property manager was very responsive and helped resolve the issue quickly and safely. I would stay there again or recommend to a friend/family.
