CAPE MAY BEACH,PET FRIENDLY, lovely home 1 block to dog friendly beach, preserve


We are sold out for June,July and August, but still have a few openings for May and the fall, which is the best time to be here! No summer crowds! Our rental home is located in Cape May Beach, just one block from the beach and 1.5 blocks from the 300 acre preserve! The beach is lovely, calm and great for kayaking, fishing, and perfect for families. It is also DOG FRIENDLY! The preserve features walking/biking paths, a fresh water lake with trout and largemouth bass, and fantastic bird watching! Over 200 species within a couple of miles!
Plus, our sunsets are unmatched anywhere on the east coast!
We are located in a wonderful, quiet neighborhood, yet just 10 minutes from Downtown Cape May and 15 minutes from Wildwood.
Our area is great no matter what the season. In Summer, the cool bay breezes invite you to just kick back with a cocktail and enjoy the sand between your toes. Fall brings festivals seemingly every day. Cape May is absolutely THE Christmas destination- you have to see it to believe it. And Spring offers great, uncrowded access to all of our tours and attractions. Our climate is great all through the fall and the holidays.
The home features 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, a fully fenced yard, central AC/heat, expanded cable and a VERY well stocked kitchen.
We supply blankets, pillows, and towels, as well as starter supplies of hand soap, dish soap, laundry detergent, paper towels, tp, garbage bags etc.
Bed sizes are 2 queens, 1 double, and 1 twin.
We love dogs! A second doggie may be considered for a nominal fee. Unfortunately, our insurance says no to a few breeds.
Cape May Beach is truly is a very special neighborhood. We have lived here for 22 years and wouldn't live anywhere else! We are sure you will love it also.

Great Stay!

Property was clean and accommodating. Neighborhood is quiet, great for riding bikes. The nature preserve is right around the corner which offers great trails for walking and biking. The beach access is a quick 3 min walk. Pete and Janet are great, quick to respond and friendly. Would highly recommend a stay here.

A restful vacation with our best friends—our dogs!

The house was comfortable and very clean. The yard was perfect for our 2 dogs, with easy access. The best part was the proximity to the nature reserve—an excellent place to walk the girls and enjoy nature, meet other dog people, and the trails were well kept. This was a beautiful, quiet neighborhood, very close to the beach.

This home was just perfect. Everything was well stocked. The beds were comfortable, the place was very clean and the street was quiet. Great winter get away!

We had a small family reunion at this lovely house - it was perfect for the 86, 83, 71 and 38 year old women who stayed here. Easy walk to the beach and nature area and the house is well organized and stocked with all the equipment you might need!

Great location

We spent Christmas weekend here during the deep freeze of 2022! The whole family (including dog) stayed cozy and warm. We braved the cold for a short walk to the bay to take in the sunset and also another short walk to the Cox Creek Wildlife Management area. Both items highly recommended! Pete communicated well with us and we were very happy with our stay.

Wonderful family home

This was a perfect property for the ladies in my family and 2 teen girls Less than 15 minutes to historic Cape May and plenty of room And fenced yard for the fur babies! Clean and well prepared for guests. Love the notes all over the house and labeled light switches! Such a great help!

Amazing experience!

We had the best time in Cape May, and this rental made all the difference! The property was exactly as advertised. It was clean and well laid-out, the neighborhood was so quiet and the short walk to the beach was a fantastic amenity. We are already talking about coming back and bringing more family. The owners were wonderful to work with both before and during our stay, and they stayed in close communication with us and answered any questions we had. I'd most definitely recommend this place to anybody looking to spend some time in Cape May!

Loved it so much booked it for next year

It was me my husband and my in-laws and two dogs. It was perfect. The owners were very nice and answered my texts right away when I had a few questions. The location was very convenient to all the places we wanted we see! The yard was just right for our dogs one small one medium. The fenced in yard was a great bonus. The house had everything you could possibly think of for cooking drinking to beach chairs and towels. We loved it so much we already booked for next year!!!

My wife and I have lived in Cape May Beach for the last 21 years. Every day we experience the beauty of this area. The beach is uncrowded, clean , and pet friendly. It offers great fishing, kayaking, shelling, birding, and just plain relaxing! The sunsets are as beautiful as Key West.
We love to walk the entire area with our dog Dexter. Our rental and our own house are located between the beach and a wildlife preserve that is truly spectacular. The lake is great for fresh water fishing and kayaking. and the paths are great for birding, walking, biking, etc.
And speaking of birding, over 200 species have been recorded within 1/2 mile of the house!
The Wildwood Boardwalk offers rides, amusements, arcades, and lot of food stands as well as a huge water park.
All the charm of Victorian Cape May is just 10 minutes away. You must experience Cape May at Christmas Time!
We hope you will visit the area and fall in love with it as we have.
We are very accessible should you need anything during your stay, and if you have never been here, we will be glad to steer you in the right directions!

I winter we have pine and holly trees that are green and snow does not come often. In spring the trees bloom and the birds sing!
ENJOY THIS HOUSE FOR WEEKEND GET AWAYS or stay a week or two to be in a low traffic, temperate area. Cape May is open year round, and is a great place to walk and enjoy a lunch or dinner.
