☀ Let us know if you're unfamiliar with Seattle's ferry system and we'll help you map out your journey step by step.
Getting Around:
A car is recommended when staying at SaltWood. You can rent from rental car companies in Seattle or in Paulsbo / Bainbridge areas, or see what's available on Turo.
SaltWood is located 10 minutes outside of the Kingston Ferry Terminal. There are a few ways to get to SaltWood. The first and fastest is taking the Kingston Fast Ferry via Kitsap Transportation. The ride takes 40 minutes and service runs Mon-Fri 5:45 AM to 6:45 PM. It's a very pleasant ride. Then you would need a taxi service from Kingston Terminal to the House. We can set this service up for you.
The second option is taking the ferry from Seattle to Bainbridge either with or without your vehicle. This ferry takes 35 minutes and then the home is located about 40 minutes from the Bainbridge Ferry terminal. We can also set up a car service to here. The ferry runs every day 6 AM to Midnight.
Other Things to Note:
ADDITIONAL PERKS & BENEFITS
☀ Want a fully-stocked kitchen when you arrive? Save time and relax! Ask about our Complimentary Grocery Delivery Service.
☀ A Pack 'n' Play is available at the house and can be set up upon request.
☀ Need to charter a boat during your stay? Just ask and we'll help you coordinate all the details, whether it's a sunset dinner on a catamaran or sailing lessons on a yacht.
OTHER NOTES ABOUT THE HOME
☀ Pet-Friendly... SaltWood welcomes potty-trained, well-behaved pets (additional fees apply). We kindly ask that nails be trimmed as close to arrival as possible. This is due to the delicate nature of the floors and other materials around the house, and tell us if any accidents occur so we can advise the best way to care for the home.
☀ Privacy... The property is very private and quiet. Please note that we do have one neighbor on the Northside of the property, a very friendly family who is aware of guests coming and going. They will respect your privacy and we also ask that you do the same for them (be mindful of using drones, playing extremely loud music at night, etc...)
☀ The Japanese soaking tub... This is a, custom-built hot tub made for your enjoyment. Not to be confused with a store-bought jacuzzi, the jets in this tub were built for water and heat circulation (not massaging the body). The muffled sound of the jets allows you to enjoy the serenity of ocean waves crashing onto the shore below. The heat is set to 101 degrees and you can adjust accordingly.
Booking Policies
1. Dogs are allowed for a flat fee of $300 per stay. No cats allowed.
