About the host
Hosted by Cheri
I have lived in Northampton for 35 years, raised a family here, and have worked for local colleges, now Bennington College in Vermont. We are seeking to rent our house just while we spend the winter months in California, so are just temporary VRBO hosts.
Why they chose this property
Northampton is vibrant in the winter, with music, restaurants, galleries, even a winter Farmer's Market and a fabulous city-wide First Night. We are les than a mile from downtown. This is a lovely quiet neighborhood a few blocks from the Smith campus, which you can walk to on a pretty trail along the Mill River.
What makes this property unique
This is a warm inviting family home, completely updated yet retaining all the character and original woodwork of a 1920's Craftsman. The yard is a large corner lot. The wood-burning fireplace, large TV with Bose sound system, and heated sunroom are enjoyable in the winter.
