We recently stayed at this property and had a mixed experience. The location is definitely a highlight—it’s very convenient to the park, making it easy to get in and out without long drives. If proximity to the park is your top priority, this spot is hard to beat. That said, there were a few drawbacks worth noting. Cleanliness did not meet expectations, as several areas of the home felt like they hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned prior to our arrival. While nothing was completely unusable, it did take away from the overall comfort of the stay.Additionally, the Wi-Fi is provided via a hotspot, which made connectivity inconsistent. If you’re planning to rely on internet access for work, streaming, or staying connected, just be aware that it may be unreliable at times. In summary, this property works well if location is your primary focus, but there is room for improvement in both cleanliness and internet reliability.
spacious and comfortable house, very clean, plenty of parking, minutes to Gardiner and Yellowstone Park north entrance, only disappointment was very poor to nonexistent internet service and no television
The location of this property is amazing! You can walk right into the downtown Gardiner and go to restaurants or grocery stores or white water rafting. You could literally walk into the park but if you drive, it’s like four minutes. The park is unique, unbelievable and superb. do not expect to come to Gardiner and have a lot of Internet connectivity. Enjoy the natural beauty instead!
Traveling with family can sometimes create issues and grumpy travelers and that I admit was me on the day of our arrival. Angela and Mike not only responded within minutes, they were incredibly professional. Not only that, when we locked ourselves out they again responded within minutes and Mike was able to save me a bunch of money on a locksmith. Rockstar! Mike and Angela are a great young couple with a great property. Please don't hesitate to book this listing, you will not regret it. Thanks again Mike and Angela!!

This house is in a great location, walking distance to mostly everything in Gardiner, and a short drive to the park gates, however, the house has several things wrong with it, such as, there are no working smoke detectors in the house, no a/c in third bedroom and no screens on the windows (the house is listed as "air conditioned") there is no light in the shower in the master bath, the fan in the hall bath does not work, there is no remote or any way to turn on the ceiling fan in the living room, the ceiling fan in the master bedroom is tricky to figure out. The host forewarned us that there were some doors broken by the previous occupant, but didn't mention that the bathroom door doesn't shut. Also, the wi-fi is is a hot spot and not at all reliableAside from the location, this house doesn't have much to offer. We were all disappointed
Beautiful, clean with very convenient location. Great host, easy communication.

This was a nice place to stay in a great location. The north entrance to the park is less than a mile away and this was a good base camp to explore the park from. We travelled with 3 kids and a dog and all had enough space. The host was very responsive and helpful.
Angela supplied lots of linens, towels, and wash cloths. The lighting is a little tricky, but we figured it out. We loved seeing elk right outside the front door every day during our stay! Beds were very comfy and the house was clean upon arrival, including beautiful fresh flowers and a little “welcome” treat!
The location and the size of this house is great. Convenient pull thru driveway in front. Spacious inside and a large patio on the back, where I enjoyed watching a group of 5 elk walk across the ridge line above one evening.Very short drive to the park entrance. Conveniently located near restaurants and shops in Gardiner.Only a couple of minor issues. Some light or fan electrical switches were flaky. Internet was spotty occasionally in the evenings, but as well as to be expected given the great location to the park.It was evident the owners are making improvements in the house, and they were responsive to our messages. I would recommend this place to anyone planning a trip to Gardiner.
