It was a wonderful house and location.

The house was airy, clean and spacious. The pool and landscaping was beautiful too. We enjoyed the sunroom in the mornings and the screened in porch in the afternoons. Plenty of bedrooms and location was grest. IOPEscapes was very helpful and informative.

We had a wonderful stay! The house is in a great location, within walking distance of the marina, which has a nice restaurant and bar. The house was very comfortable and had great amenities. The backyard was awesome, with turf and a putting green for the kids to play on, and the pool was warm enough to enjoy even in October. The large, screened-in porch was comfortable and a great place to relax, and the outdoor grill worked perfectly. The layout of the house was great, with plenty of space for our families to spread out and enjoy our stay. We would absolutely visit again!

This was a great house for a group, we especially loved the screened in porch. We had a small problem with the oven timer that we were able to resolve. The house was everything we needed and was in walking distance to a restaurant/bar and a cute market.

We had a great week staying here. It was close to the beach, easy trip to Charleston and other sights. Having the pool extended our day and we also enjoyed the screened in porch. The living area was comfortable for our family to spread out and play games and leave a puzzle out for the week. It was nice that the pool was cleaned during the week. We did have a problem with lack of hot water in two of the showers, but Amy’s team was responsive and came over to fix it quickly. I will also add that many VRBOs, do have a fair amount of kitchen spices, and wrap left over from other guests. This does not so come prepared with your kitchen needs.

Just a great spot. Quiet street perfectly situated on IOP. The layout is perfect for my families which included parents, grand parents and 3 kids. The pool was fantastic. Can’t wait to come back.

The home was undeniably beautiful and spacious. All the furniture was well styled and genuinely comfortable. The neighborhood was beautiful and the landscaping was luxurious. All of these things would make it worth what we paid, if not for the general maintenance of the space. Despite being lovely on the surface, the house has a serious mold problem. We captured multiple photos of mold and mildew on doors, windows, and miscellaneous trim throughout the house. There is a distinct smell from the moment you walk in, and it was potent enough that my clothing retained the smell upon returning home (despite only staying for two nights). We found soiled pillows and linens in one of the closets. It appeared that previous guests had hidden these items, which is not the fault of the property manager, but speaks to the lack of thorough cleaning. I had to clean the dishes before using them because food residue had been left on the frying pans. Most unfortunately, it seemed that the property had not been treated for mosquitos, rendering the pool and outdoor spaces virtually unusable in the current season. The host was very kind, and the property clearly has a lot of potential, which is what made our stay so disappointing. We paid what I would consider to be luxury pricing, and unfortunately, the maintenance does not live up to the cost.

What a wonderful family vacation we had at this beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. It was very spacious, beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed playing games in the screened porch, swimming in and sitting by the pool and going to the beach. It was convenient to all of the historic locations, carriage ride and the plantations. Wish we had longer to enjoy this property & the locale! 3 nights wasn’t enough! Two master suites made this ideal for 2 couples. A sunroom & a screened porch plus a beautiful pool in a fenced back yard. Perfect for our 7 lb pommy! Clean, comfortable, easy to enjoy

Wonderful Family Vacation

This property provided everything we needed and more. Close proximity to the beach, stores and restaurants. It offered plenty of room for our family of 6. We found the yard to be very private and were happy the yard was fenced in. The pool was enjoyed by all. Our favorite room was the screened in patio. Ample space for everyone to relax and enjoy. We look forward to our next vacation here.

Wonderful well equipped place for our 3 generation family holiday.

Perfect place for us to enjoy the holiday with our daughter and her two college age children. The house was spacious, had a well equipped kitchen and conveniently located in a quiet accessible neighborhood. The sofas and beds were comfortable and the bedrooms were quiet. We loved the fact that we did not have to go through gates to go to the airport, the grocery stores, Black Friday shopping, restaurants, the marina, etc. Our grandson brought his boat and thoroughly enjoyed fishing and was delighted to have enough room in the driveway to park overnight. We hope to come back and enjoy the pool and the beach in warmer weather.
