About this property

Beautiful Large Home - Across Street from Private Beach Access- Private Pool

At Crystal Clear Retreat you will be right at home.

This beautiful beach oasis, has a private pool, wraparound porch and second and third floor decks. Located directly across from the Gulf, this spacious home is ideal for large families.

The bunk room is perfect for smaller kids (1 triple bunk and queen bed sleeps 5), and teens will love the third floor loft with daybed and trundle, refrigerator and sink.

The large back patio, with a nice "heat available" private pool with lights, outdoor shower, and grill, makes it the perfect place to gather in the afternoon!

The main floor is an open floor plan with ample space for everyone. We know you will also love the large 60` TV with cable TV with many channels.

Two of the bedrooms are on the first floor...one with a king bed and the other with a queen and 1 set of twin over full bunks.

The 2nd floor has the huge Master suite with king bed. The other bedroom also has a king bed. Both bedrooms are full of light and access to private balconies. The Bathrooms have super nice looks and exclusive appeal.

The kitchen has been completely remodeled with high-end appliances, and the downstairs bathrooms have just been completely remodeled and are beautiful.

The location is right across main road 98, with a private walkway and shower leading to a huge sandy Beach. The pictures don't do it justice.

The place is a palace close to the beach!

Home Away From Home

Fabulous getaway house.

Great house and location! This was our last minute “backup vacation” as covid messed up our plans of going further south. Pool and beach both easily accessible. It was a much needed week of relaxation for us all.

The Perfect House

This is our second year staying in this house and it was exactly as we remembered. The house is beautifully decorated and has every accommodation a family could need. We had 10 people, 3 families, and never once felt crowded. With having kids between 4-10 yo, the 1 minute walk to the beach is ideal. We will definitelystay again next year 😍

Destin destination

The house is wonderful, with plenty of amenities. Perfectly located for morning walks along the beach. Close to everything Destin has to offer. This was our group's third year renting this house. We plan to return again next year. Thank you for another good vacation!

Great location to beach easy access.house works well wirh large families.Had lots of usefull items for beach. Only small problems was refridgerator did not produce enough ice for large family. 2nd floor bathroom sink had no water preasure at all. I would rent again.

A Great Stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week. This house is in a great location right across from beach, and centrally located between shopping, golf, and restaurants. If you want to stay in, the grill is great. Kitchen is also nice. We enjoyed the pool; so much better than staying at a condo and sharing it with everyone else. Quiet area so you could actually get some sleep at night. Bedrooms and bathrooms are all ample size. Balconies are nice for enjoying the sea breezes in the morning and at night. Would definitely stay again and recommend. Everyone in our group agrees.

Incredible! Can't wait to go back!

My family has been staying a week or two a year at this house for the last 4 years, and each time we can't wait to come back! The last several trips we truly had "Crystal Clear" water and felt like we were at the Caribbean. The house itself has so many ammenities, and has been completely renovated! The mattresses are so great, I like them better than mine at home! You can't beat the beach access right across the street, and youre also walking distance to several great restaurants (Crab Trap and Camille's). Close to the outlets as well. Love to take strolls through the nearby neighborhoods and relax on the porch or in the pool. Beach chairs and umbrellas are also provided which is another plus! Can't recommend this beach house enough!

What a GEM!

This house is an absolute GEM!! We stayed here 2nd week of September with two other couples and just loved this house. Plenty of room and it has everything and more of what you need, the beach cart, umbrellas and chairs were so much appreciated!! It only took us literally a few minutes to walk down to the beach each day, so nice being so close. The bedrooms are very roomy, the whole house is tastefully decorated. The pool was so nice to relax by after a day of beaching and or shopping. We sat on the front porch every morning drinking our coffee, plenty of room for us. Can't wait to stay here again! The only thing I would suggest is replacing the grill.

Absolutely perfect!!

I honestly can’t say enough good things about this entire experience. From the initial booking, the Myer team has been polite and helpful. Truly a delight knowing that you are staying in a place that is cared for, making the settling in for us, as if we were our home! I was already looking at rates for next year before I even left (obsessed much?!)! I travel for work so I have stayed in my fair share of hotels, B&Bs, and rental shares such as this and if even half were as accommodating, I think we would all be a little more zen when we return home! Thank you so much for sharing this home, my family and I appreciate you!

Fantastic Property

This was my family’s first trip to Destin. I thought the house was in a great location— close drive to restaurants and grocery, but removed from the more congested areas by the high rise condos. The house was everything promised. Fantastic kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, and adequate space in bathrooms. We were thankful for the private pool when we had a double red flag day and couldn’t swim in the ocean. Beach access was close, but it was a very busy street to cross so keep that in mind with small children. Also to note, canopies are not allowed on the beach. But the house provided three beach umbrellas, which worked out great! Overall, it was a wonderful property to rent. Everything was clean and functional, and conducive to multiple families. Lots of open common space to gather, but many bedrooms/balconies for privacy. Would definitely stay here again!

Good location very clean Blow dryer was broken and fan in downstairs bedroom wasn’t working so I notified VRBO Biggest concern was security as the doors could easily be opened by pushing on them Kitchen was well stocked but could have used some small spoons

One of our best stays yet.

We go to Destin every year and this home that we rented was by far one of the best properties yet. The location to the beach is amazing. The cleanliness was perfect. The communication with the owners were great. I don’t have a bad thing to say about this property. It worked out wonderful for our families. We will definitely be returning.

Just fell in love with the place and great for our growing family with our married daughter and three grandchildren. Two sons also love it. So close to the beach and everything else in Destin.
