Perfect for our group! We rented this house for our 10 year reunion at UNH. The bedrooms and bunkhouse were nice and clean! We enjoyed using the fire pit in the backyard and could hang house in the large open kitchen. Overall, a great stay!

I booked this place a week ago for my graduation in Manchester New Hampshire. John the host, was very accommodating and great with communication ensuring everything ran smoothly during our stay! This place was in IMMACULATE condition. My family and I were very impressed and would definitely book again for another stay. Highly recommend 10/10 if you are looking for a getaway and you are traveling with children or a larger group.

This is a beautiful property - impeccably clean, well-designed, and stocked with everything you need. The layout of the main house is fantastic, with ample space for everyone to be together or in separate areas. The kids loved what we came to call the "playroom," and thoroughly enjoyed the games, arcade, and mini putting green. My favorite part was the back patio and firepit area. The bunkhouse was great extra space as well. Our family had a magical time at this property. The hosts were fantastic - they had excellent communication with us before, during, and after. It was clear they genuinely want their guests to have a top-notch experience. We'd go back in a heartbeat, and hope to do just that!

This place is close to everything: Portsmouth, Kittery- it's all 10ish minutes away. Very quick and convenient. The house is nicely furnished, adequately supplied with towels and blankets etc, we loved the fire place (were there late December).

Very nice property. Quiet area. The garage area that has bunk beds got a little chilly at night. There is no insulation in the ceiling it's just a garage with a mini-split. Otherwise a perfect stay.

Fantastic Retreat!

Our family had a wonderful celebration at this house! The open floorplan and beautiful kitchen were a hit! Everyone loved the game room which was great for celebrating my son's birthday! The house was spacious and well-equipped and we felt immediately at home here. The location was perfect, only minutes from UNH and we look forward to coming back next spring to celebrate our son's graduation from college. Thanks again to our hosts (John & Jess) for such an amazing stay.

We had an excellent stay with two kids under the age of 5, it can sometimes be tricky going and staying anywhere. But with this house it has every amenity of home. Big back yard, and lots of space for kids to be kids. Not to mention it’s a quiet, laid back feel, minutes away from the beach, shopping and more. We will be booking another stay for next year.

Guys Weekend

We came to Eliot for a guys weekend away. The house was great, super clean, exactly like the posting. The backyard is HUGE (the pictures don't do it justice) and private, great space for a family to play games and entertain. Extremely close to Portsmouth with easy access to major routes. Great coffee shops nearby. The hosts were very responsive and made sure everything was easy. Highly recommend staying here and would definitely return! Thanks for a great weekend!

Family Between houses

John did an amazing job with the house. EVERYTHING is brand new. The dishes, towels, bedding, appliances, were all high quality. The space was perfect. The bunkhouse, outdoor patio, outdoor furniture and fire pit were amazing. With easy access to the city of Portsmouth, Kittery Outlets, and York Harbor, it is a fantastic place for family or couples to enjoy the beauty of the NH and Maine coast.

Family Trip

We loved the vacation home. The bunkhouse was bonus for the adult cousins to play late night games while everyone else slept inside quietly. The outdoor space is so inviting and was great to share some laughs by the fire. One bathroom was a little tough with 8 people but we made do. Another half bath would have been perfect. The outdoor shower helped tho with showers. The location of the home was perfect. We even went to Hampton Beach NH one day and it was only 20 minutes away. Overall I give this home a great review and would recommend to future vacationers

Everything you need

This home and property will fit all your needs. Perfect for a multi family stay. Right when you drive up you’ll be in a large driveway and the front seating area is cozy and perfect for reading and morning coffee. The yard is huge. Soccer. Volleyball, any sport you could think of, there is enough space for it all, probably even simultaneously. Fire pit is perfect for conversation and s’mores. Patio is large with seating, grill, small high table adorned with string lighting. The towels and linens are super soft and high quality. Central AC and fans in every bedroom keeps everyone a comfortable temperature. The kitchen has everything you might need. Coffee maker says drip in description but it is a convertible for k-cups too! Bonus!! The garage putting green, tv, sofa and desk areas are perfect for teens, kids, and any adult! All the decor is lovely and gives a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. We only wished there was another full bathroom. They are in the process of adding an outdoor shower so that will help! Things to do: we did Kittery Trading Post and outlets, a 20 minute ride to Ogunquit and Perkins Cove for the beach, restaurants, and events. The Friendly Toast and Bagel Caboose were both fantastic!!

We visited from California. Our arrival was earlier than the check in time, the owner was kind enough to let us know as soon as the house was available and let us check in 2 hours early so that we didn't have to wait in the car tired from the traveling with our luggage. The house looks just as it does in the pictures! Very clean, beautiful and comfortable for a family of 6 with a dog.The bunkhouse was perfect for an adult that needed his own space. Although you can sleep 3 people easily in there with 3 beds. The outside shower gives you more flexibility when with a big group, there is also a porta potty, that was very clean to be able to use when the bathroom indoors was occupied. The bunkhouse does not have any bathrooms/toilets FYI: however, it was not an issue for us.The owner was super responsive with anything I needed or had questions on. ( I couldn't find a TV remote LOL and he had one overnighted to us)The kitchen /living room/dining room tie into the garage that is turned into a bonus/game room / a office space was perfect! Very spacious and everyone had their own space if they needed it, although we all stuck together from room to room which was my dream come true to watch my adult kids hang out and enjoy each other's company with mom and dad. There are plenty of board games, cornhole, spike ball, giant Jenga, trivia, golf and so many games to bond with your group.One of the highlights was the firepit, we BBQed and had S'mores one night on a perfect starry night. The yard is amazing, and the trees were blooming in October!This house is perfect for a group or a family. We will definitely go back again! As for activities in the area: Portsmouth has plenty to do and see, Maine has the lighthouses and beautiful sceneries, we took a train from Dover to Boston for the day that was an amazing experience. Apple picking was a fun family time. All and all 5 star are earned! Thank you for your hospitality!
