Great long weekend getaway

We were four families of friends and kids who go on an annual trip to York Beach together. The house was just as pictured, had plenty of space for each family and our kids to sleep comfortably, and plenty of space to gather. Great outdoor space, well equipped kitchen, and you can’t beat the location.

Family gathering

We wanted a nice place to get together with our family near the ocean. The house was great, perfect for adults and kids! It was nice having the living area on a separate floor than the bedrooms. We spent a lot of time on the decks which had an amazing view. Walk to the ocean was extremely easy.

Wonderful Thanksgiving in York!

We had an amazing Thanksgiving at the comfortable York Beach home. It was even better than expected! The kitchen was easy to cook in, our family had plenty of room to stay, and it was so nice to easily walk to the beach. Thanks for all!

Amazing Property

This property well exceeded our expectations. It is super nice - so nice I find it hard to believe they rent it out! :) We were a group of 6 college friends who wanted a place to hang out together for a weekend. Everyone found the beds very comfortable, the house had everything we needed. The temp control worked fast and very well. Location just steps to the beach was amazing - made for great morning walks. There was ample seating areas and a huge dining table which was perfect. Our host was very responsive and easy to reach. I would highly recommend it!

Ladies Weekend

My friends and I get together annually to stay in touch since we are all over the country now. It was the perfect location to relax, explore the town, have peaceful mornings, and spend nights cooking in. The house was the perfect size for 12 of us with the right number of bathrooms and spaces for us to all hang out but not feel crammed. We loved our weekend adventure in York and would love to back again one day.

Lovely house with great views and access to Long Sands Beach

We celebrated a special birthday with our adult children and three little grandchildren. The house was spacious and decor lovely; everything was fresh and new. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped for cooking. Lila was very accommodating and easy to work with. We’d highly recommend this house!

This house is perfect for our group of 10. The location is great the house is clean and has everything you need to cook in and lounge around. Quality mattresses and pillows. The host is easy to communicate with. Love the place we will return.

THE BEST OF THE BEST !!

This home is amazing and the location is directly across the street from the beach. It is immaculate, spacious and tastefully decorated - the best. There were 5 women celebrating a 70th birthday. We all had our own room and one room has 3 beds in it. Look no further if you want to stay in this area - it was perfect in every way.

Great house for a gathering of friends!

Our group of 4 couples, long time friends, got together for a weekend getaway in mid-winter. We were seeing a show in Portsmouth and made a weekend out of it. We were looking for a place to stay that had open living areas for the group to gather and had enough bedrooms with queen+ beds for all of us. This property was perfect for us! The open kitchen/living areas on the second floor provided a great place for socializing and the bedrooms were large and comfortable. The house was well equipped and had everything we needed. Even though it was mid-January, access to the beach was a big plus for the views and taking a walk.

Exceptional Home

The quality of the home was exceptional. Comfortable bedding and furniture and beautifully decorated. Highly recommend if you want a beach vacation. We were there in the winter. Although some places were closed for the season, there were plenty of terrific restaurant options and things to do. The home is placed on the rear section of the lot so you could only see the view directly in front of you (not left or right) but that was plenty for us...the windows and balconies maximized the view which was fabulous. Plan to rent again :)

Perfection!!

This was an absolutely wonderful property! Not a single thing was broken (as is often the case in other rentals). Everything was spotless clean. Everything looks exactly like it does in the pictures, but was even more amazing in person. Beautifully decorated and spacious. There’s a wonderful mile and a half walk from house to Nubble lighthouse along water the whole way. It was soooo quiet, we all slept beautifully even though the houses are close together (although we went off-season.) kitchen fully stocked with every single thing we could need. We already booked for next year!! Host was very responsive and kind. Highly, highly recommend!!
