Amazing property for a family trip! Lots of space and a quick walk to the beach, lighthouse and more. The host was super responsive, they actually instacarted a new coffee machine within a couple of hours because the pot was missing. Would definitely recommend!

Our family had a great visit. Everyone had a comfortable room and the common space worked out well for brunch, dinners, movies, games, and gazing out at the ocean. Location is ideal, with restaurants and supermarket 10 mins away.

Our stay was amazing! The view was incredible, the home had everything and more. The beds were very comfortable and the decor was perfect for an oceanfront home. This was our second stay at this property and third stay with these hosts--and it was just as lovely as ever! We love this house immensely. This time, there was abundant snow and was a winter wonderland ... in the best possible way! The hosts are amazing, the house is cozy and has everything you can need, and the views simply cannot be beaten. We will be back next year!

We got a message the day before we were to arrive that they had just found out that one of the units was not working. When we got there, you could clearly see the rusted out broken air-conditioning unit that wasn't working. They couldn't have just found out that there was an issue. There was no sense of urgency from the owners. During the days, the house was 87 on the first floor and hotter on the second and third floor. The AC was ultimately repaired on Friday afternoon just in time for the next renter. They did provide us a minimal refund of approximately 10% of the total cost.The second issue was the driveway… Long and narrow, it was very difficult to back out of onto a very busy street because there were cars parked in our line of site in one direction and trees in the other direction. Finally… When we walked in, it was obvious that the cleaners had not done a great job… There was an unrecognizable piece of food under the coffee table covered in insects and when we move furniture around, there were equally as disgusting discoveries made.We will not be staying there next summer.

Hopefully people will understand that this 180th review isn't usual. Having a house on directly on the ocean comes with some challenges regarding salty air and rust. AC systems were inspected and cleaned in the Spring and one compressor was even changed late Spring. The issue with AC was more complex than the picture, affecting a wall unit inside the house which impacted the others, and we were continuously working with the HVAC company to solve it as soon as possible. Although we understand that this was a major inconvenience, they were also doing their very best during a summer with particular heat waves and AC issues everywhere. We feel we did our best to assist regardless of a harsh attitude but this was out of our control. We were not notified of any issue regarding the cleaning.

Simply the best! This is our 3rd year staying at this beautiful home and we cannot wait to return next year. Olivia and Patrick are the most responsive and wonderful hosts we have ever worked with. Their house has everything you could possibly need- including breathtaking sunrises and sunsets every day! A perfect vacation to wind down with our kids and so much to do-even in the winter-with quick little adventures to Portsmouth, Portland and Kittery. Top it off with fresh lobster cooked to order down the street, a brewery within walking distance and miles of beautiful beach to walk every day. Good for the soul!
