Family first time staying at Treasure Island

The condo was very clean, gorgeous view of beach. Close access to pool and beach. Perfect! I would recommend to anyone. I will most definitely be back and that will be the condo I choose to rent next visit.

The furniture was filthy, mold in the master bathroom, the kitchen had food on the cabinets, floors were filthy and the dishes still had food on the plates. Very disappointing! Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented a total of 4 condos to accommodate 13 people for a week. Out of all the condos, this one was the most dated in décor, especially the blind which were pretty much beyond their useful life. An AC problem occurred, but it was promptly corrected within a couple of hours and the condo recovered a comfortable temperature by bedtime. The couple that stayed in this condo are New Yorkers with fairly low needs regarding modern amenities and air conditioning. However, even they mentioned that the blinds were shot (falling down from clips every time they were used, etc. ) and should be replaced. They were still pleased with the accommodations, as were we and did not mention the problem with the blinds to anyone until now.

August 2021 - Satisfied except AC issue & communication

Very nice two-bedroom apartment with a nice view of the ocean. Plenty of room for our family of 4. The property was clean and had all the necessary supplies. WIFI was great. We had an issue with the AC in the master bedroom: the system had some sort of flaw which caused it to not push much cold air into the master bedroom. That resulted in the master bedroom being uncomfortably warmer than the rest of the apartment. I'm sure it didn't help that it was very hot and humid that week. The bigger issue was with the maintenance staff. When I called, the lady first said "previous guests didn't report any problems" & to make sure the vents are open (they were). Either this person was new to this property and hadn't dealt with previous calls about the master bedroom AC, or she didn't read reviews on this unit. If you look at reviews for the unit, you can see previous renters also had the same issue: * From Sherry - June 2021: "only concern was that the air vent in the master bedroom did not blow cold air" * From Jo - June 2021: "The air flow vent in the master bedroom was putting out ZERO air flow." * From sheriy1 - May 2020: "The master is very hot and doesn’t get the best A/C but does have a fan!" * From Frank - Apr 2017: "Air conditioning did not work well in master bedroom." A technician did come a couple of days later (they were closed Sundays) and worked around the issue by closing other vents to force more air out of the master bedroom's vent. That addressed the problem for the rest of our stay. So - I was overall happy with the unit but disappointed that an AC issue that was reported many times in the past was never properly addressed.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love Treasure Island and our favorite place to stay, Lands End, Building 10. We really enjoyed unit #304. The facility was very nice and updated. The beds were comfortable. The unit had everything we needed. There are only a couple of things that require attention: 1. The air flow vent in the master bedroom was putting out ZERO air flow. The master bedroom was very hot, very uncomfortable sleeping conditions. We had to keep the shades drawn at all times to try to keep the bedroom from being so hot we couldn’t sleep in there. We couldn’t enjoy the beautiful ocean scene from the master bedroom at all. 2. This is just a suggestion: an updated washer and dryer would be nice considering this is a premiere unit. Our family members stayed in 302 which had very nice updated washer and dryer.

Quiet complex

I will definitely be going back! The area itself was quite busy (note it was also a holiday weekend). But since the complex is gated, it was so relaxing! I would almost forget all of the hustle and bustle of the town!
