This place was amazing!! It’s very clean and modern with plenty of bathroom space for a bigger group. The available crib and high chair made things much more convenient than staying at a hotel. The rooftop is beautiful and the neighborhood is quiet at night. It’s a super short walk to the beach. I’d definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay here! Wonderful location and the penthouse was modern, clean and well maintained. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds are comfortable. You can walk to many attractions and restaurants. We’ll definitely try to come back in the summer to enjoy the short walk to the beach!

Our group had a perfect stay at this penthouse condo. This is a beautiful property- very open concept, beautiful finishes like we were at a 5 star hotel. This is a fantastic location too - in the Gold Coast, on a very quiet street. Finally, our hosts were great communicators & super organized, making check in and check out easy. Thank you! I’d definitely stay here again!

Great location and host was very responsive. The only issue was internet and tv. Found out as we were leaving that modem was unplugged so no tv for stay. Other than that the location was as advertised.

Newly remodeled top floor unit is perfect for families or friends. Fantastic location just steps from Mag Mile, restaurants, shopping, and museums. Highly recommend!

A couple things to note:The Good:Great locationAwesome rooftopQuiet buildingComfortable sitting areasOther things to know:Only one building key, which is annoying for a group that might split up during the day.VERY steep stairs. Makes loading in groceries or heavier items very hard. No elevator. Closets are stuffed with kids items so almost no place to hang clothes. Playpens in the bedrooms eat up space. Some odd construction inside with the dishwasher sliding in and out (not properly anchored)

This property exceeded our expectations in nearly every way. The space itself was excellent, well-appointed, comfortable, and exactly as described. But the real star was the location. So much is within easy walking distance that you'll find yourself leaving the car (or the metro) behind entirely and just exploring on foot. It made for an incredibly immersive experience.One practical note: the unit is on the third floor with stairs, so if you or anyone in your group has mobility concerns or is traveling with heavy luggage, it's worth planning ahead. It wasn't a problem for us, but it's the kind of thing you appreciate knowing in advance.Overall, a fantastic stay. We'd book again without hesitation and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great base with an unbeatable location.

Wonderful Chicago Stay

Wonderful property with a great location for visiting Chicago. Convenient, easy walking distance to shopping, restaurants and the subway. Faultless communications with the hosts & unit was exactly as described in the listing. It is a penthouse on the 4th Floor with lots of stairs to get to the unit. Would definitely stay there again if in the area.

Lovely Time!

We had trouble accessing the garage but that was on us - just didn’t see the monthly pass box. Hosts were very kind and took our call about it. We also had trouble accessing the online home guide so we had to bother the hosts again for the wifi password. My only suggestion would be to have a printed version of that guide in the home. Beautiful home and we got our exercise on the stairs!

Beautiful penthouse. Perfect location.

My sisters and I (6 total) just spent 4 days in this gorgeous penthouse suite. The communications with the owners was impeccable during the booking process, prior to our arrival, and during our stay. The location is perfect for walking access to restaurants, Whole Foods, and shopping. We felt very safe out and about in the neighborhood. We really enjoyed ending our day with cocktails on our own private rooftop with comfortable furniture to relax in. We arrived by train and this rental was less than a 20 dollar cab ride, quick and easy. We also had an excellent walking tour provided by a volunteer from Chicago Greeters. It’s the perfect location/ comfortable rental, to explore Chicago. This is a third floor spacious penthouse, which entails some steps. But hey, it’s a way to work off that great Chicago pizza!

We had 5 older ladies stay for 4 nights and we loved it. We enjoyed the proximity of so many great restaurants. We did happy hour at one place, take-out from a pizza place and take-out from a seafood place. The upper deck was wonderful for sitting outside and enjoying the evening. Also, we did morning walks on the beach which was just at the end of the block. It was so close to everything we wanted to do. A great location, a great place and we had a great time.

The place was great and a great location- the hosts are very responsive to your needs. The place is a walk up - so be prepared for that - however everything was clean and in great shape. Awesome outdoor rooftop deck that is private. Would stay again!
