This peaceful 3BR/2.5BA retreat nestled along the tidal marshes of the White Chimney River, features a private deep-water dock & front-row access to Georgia’s coastal marsh ecosystem. Kayak winding tidal creeks, birdwatch from sunrise-sunset, fish/crab from the dock & unwind with marsh views. Enjoy the cowboy pool (Mar–Oct) & a pet-friendly fenced yard. Come slow down, tune into the rhythm of the coast & experience the rich ecosystems of Georgia’s Lowcountry.

*Bedroom 1: Spacious king bedroom with full en suite bathroom. Bedroom has walk in closet, view of the water, light filtering and black out curtains, outlets on each bedside, and a smart tv. Bathroom has custom walk in rain shower with handheld faucet.

*Bedroom 2: King sized bedroom with private en suite half bathroom. Bedroom has walk out patio attached to the main deck. Beautiful waterfront view. Bedroom has a smart tv.

*Bedroom 3: Queen sized bed and twin sized bed with full bathroom on the hall. Bedroom has a smart tv and ample storage. Bathroom has a bathtub and tile shower surround.

*Living & Dining: Spacious living and dining rooms! Dining room table seats 8 people and there is bar seating for 4. Living room has an oversized Albany Park sofa and two captains chairs. Huge roku Smart TV. Living room console has books, bracelet kits, and puzzles perfect for a rainy day.

*Kitchen: Full kitchen with large fridge, gas stove, dishwasher, and microwave. Full set of pots, pans, plates, cups, etc. Has a 4 slice toaster, crock pot, and grill utensils. Coffee station has both a keurig coffee maker and drip coffee pot. We provide a few k-cups in our welcome basket. :)

*Laundry Room: Full sized side by side washer and dryer. Iron and ironing board, laundry supplies, and air dry hanging station.

~OUTSIDE~
*The Yard: Easy and free parking in front and side yard. Side yard big enough for parking a boat. Fenced in private backyard has a serine hammock on the marsh, a little sunset lookout point, cornhole, and horse shoes.

*Fire Pit: 6 adirondack chairs surround a metal fire pit. Perfect for smores and making memories.

*Outdoor Dining: Charcoal grill. Umbrella outdoor dining table seats 6. Outdoor lounge area comfortably sits 7.

*Cowboy Pool: 8 ft wide circular stock tank pool is approximately 2 feet deep. Perfect for cooling off in the summer. Surrounding pool deck perfect for sun tanning! *POOL ONLY AVAILABLE MARCH THROUGH OCTOBER*

*ON THE WATER: Long boardwalk across the marsh brings you to the beautiful White Chimney River. Be prepared for the length of the dock (approximately 800 feet). The dock is in White Chimney River, just off Sapelo Sound before you reach the ocean. Bring your own boat - deep water at all tides. Community boat ramp available and a boat lift at Shellman Bluff Fish Camp. Enjoy fishing, crabbing, and cast netting on the dock. Enjoy beautiful sunsets every night.

Being in the south and on the marsh, be prepared to encounter a few mosquitos, no-see-ums, palmetto bugs, frogs, and fiddler crabs. This is a healthy ecosystem that breeds life for so many other creatures. We also provide bug spray and hand fans to help make your stay on the dock more comfortable.

This property might not be appropriate for all ages and abilities. There is risk being on the water with children that requires higher attention and care. We do not provide life jackets (as they are weight, size, and age specific). Please take that into consideration when booking.
