Absolutely awesome! If you're looking for seclusion; this is your place. Very peaceful and relaxing! Gheri our host was amazing and quick to respond either by calling or text. There was plenty of room to park.
We had a wonderful 3 days in this cabin. It is just as advertised Quiet and serene!! It is surrounded by trees with no other houses in sight. I could have sat on that porch all day. The bed was very comfortable and the cabin is cozy. We can't wait to book again for next year
This was a wonderful cabin to stay in. It was far enough from the city to enjoy peace and quiet, but not too far to enjoy our vacation. This kitchen had everything needed to cook our meals and the grill was perfect for a steak. The king size beds were incredibly comfortable. We had such a relaxing vacation here.
We came to this fabulous cabin for our honeymoon and loved it! Very clean, communication with the host was great. Nice secluded location. We heard neighbors but couldn't see them. This cabin is the last one on a dead end road. Be sure your car doors are locked at all times! We had several bears comes through including a mama bear who tried to open my car door! She walked away as her tiny cub followed behind. Gatlinburg was a very nice place. You have to visit the Pancake Pantry. Best breakfast we've ever had!
Geri was a most gracious host that checked in with us by text when we drove into the cabin and followed up with us on the day of departure. What a wonderful cabin in a perfect setting. We can’t wait to reserve this cabin again next spring or fall.
What a great little cabin in the woods! Our family and dog thoroughly enjoyed our stay. You are truly nestled in the woods at the top of the mountain and it is peaceful, only one car tried to come up this far but realized they were off the main road and turned around. The road going in is very tight in some spots, I have a pick up and had no troubles, just something to keep in mind. I had one issue that the owner was quick to handle and no other problems. We have stayed at many mountain cabins and this one was perfect for the price. Close enough to Gatlinburg yet just far enough away to be super quiet. Everything worked as it should in a mountain home and I would recommend for a family traveling with a dog.
We had a wonderful stay here! The view from the front porch was beautiful and relaxin, being immersed in nature is what we needed as we are driving across the country! The cabin was cute and cozy and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. Geri is a wonderful host and was great with communication. We loved seeing the fire flies and the couple of bears that come by. We cannot wait to come back!
The cabin and area was as described. We had snow and saw a bear. It was everything you would expect from a secluded mountain cabin. But still only approximately 20 minutes from Gatlinburg. Geri was a great host. She checked in on us to ensure we were enjoying our time at the cabin. If arriving for check in during evening hours print Geri’s directions and follow instead of GPS.
Cabin was as stated. Very clean, secluded, and all we could have asked for. Lots of bear traffic. Every evening at 8 at least 1 but up to 3 bears made the path out of the woods and around the patio. Just sat on the couch and waited for them to visit.
Loved the cabin location. Secluded and private as described yet still close enough to town for convenience. Geri was great with communication and making sure that all of our needs were met while there. Cabin had comfortable beds and was nicely decorated. We felt right at home. We were super excited that we saw two bears in the neighborhood and the kids really enjoyed having access to the community pools. The cabin was also perfect for our fur babies as well. They had room to walk and play. We can’t wait to come again!!
My dog and I got away for a few quiet days. It can be tough finding even pet friendly places that will allow a 226lb Mastiff. Geri has always had large dogs and was very accepting. The cabin was super cute and incredibly clean. There was a beautiful view from the porch perfect for coffe in the mornings and wine in the evenings. The gate on the front porch was a definite bonus having a pet. We had a restful & peaceful time....and Vader got in a LOT of sniffing! :) Thank you for a wonderful time, Geri!
Cabin was very clean and private. You will lose cell service driving up the mountain, so make sure you have owners directions available to help you find cabin. This cabin was the last one going up the mountain. Very private. Good communication with owner. We had no needs but she reached out to us to see if we did. Property was clean. Had a hot tub and fire pit that we didn’t use but were available had we wanted to. Pictures below of cabin and view outside of cabin.
The cabin was in a perfect location with everything we needed for a six day stay in the Smokys! Geri was a great host and very easy to communicate with. She has a coffee table book of all the things to do, eat, and see in the area. We even got to see the bears a couple times during our stay. Would recommend this cozy little cabin to any couple or small group looking to enjoy time in the mountains!
