Everything we needed for 3 Seniors was available. Clean and organized kitchen. The house keeper was sweet, inviting and very personable. The host was very responsive and answered us immediately with any questions we might have. The patio was a plus and we even saw two bears from there. (We also encountered two more elsewhere). We just had a very relaxing time because the place was so Sweet and Homey.

It is very nice and clean, the owners are very nice, if you go during wintertime you should have a 4x 4 vehicle because the house is on the mountain climb and is very steep and too many turns.

Nature Getaway - Saw Bears

This cabin was a perfect spot nestled in the Smoky Mountains forest. We enjoyed the balcony with the hot tub after our hike to Mt Leconte (30 min away). You get to enjoy the beauty and quiet of nature while still being close to all the stuff in Gatlinburg (10 mins) Everything we needed was in the cabin, we cooked all breakfasts and one dinner at the cabin (used the grill). Showers are awesome! Bed was too soft for our tastes, like sinking into a marshmallow and master room is open loft… I missed that in the description. Best surprise, we saw 2 bears at breakfast time. What a thrill!!

Peace of heaven

The cabin made our trip. It was so nice to be up and away from the hustle of downtown. The Property manager is attentive and very easy to get ahold of. Basics are already stocked for arrival from hygiene products to coffee filter and K'cup (you will have to bring your own grounds for the pot). Definitely, worth a visit!

Nice Cabin, SCARY drive

We had a great stay! We were able to bring our pets, which was really nice, as we see them as part of the family. We enjoyed the hot tub, fireplace, and the home in general. The drive up the mountain was SCARY! My vehicle is not 4-wheel drive and we started slipping back down the mountain.

Nice hidden on hills

It was creepy arriving at night since the house is up in the mountains, didnt even want to leave once we were up there. Got used to the drive up and down after a couple days. We brought our dogs along with us. Nice side patio for barbecue and hot tub. We seen 5 bears across the street coming down the hill from the big house on the top.nice parking spots for 2 to 3 cars.

Great experience!

We had such a great time! We didn't want to leave. The property is up in the mountains, so we saw so many bears! There was even one on the back porch! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need, except some washcloths for the kitchen, but there was a sponge. They had lysol wipes available, which was nice to have. The windowsills were not clean, you can tell they haven't been cleaned in a while. A vacuum would have been nice to have to clean the floors after eating. There is a broom and dust pan, but I'd prefer a vacuum for the rugs. I know spiders are to be expected, because you're in the middle of the woods, but some spider bombs would be beneficial, as there we're quite a few. The dining table was beautifully set up. The living room was so cozy. Loved the view of the outdoors from the master bedroom and the guest room. The back porch was lovely to sit on (bring bug spray though). The hot tub was hot and ready to go for us. The quilts on the bed were cute and the beds were pretty comfortable. Overall, we had a great experience!

Family trip to GSMNP

We had a wonderful stay. This cabin is beautiful and has all of the amenities you can think of and plenty to entertain the kids during downtime from hiking and Dollywood. We saw 2 bears in our yard! It is way up at the top of the mountain. I was not familiar with the roads and found the trek up in the dark a little scary. It was worth it though and we had a lovely week.

The location of the cabin is not detailed enough.

IN the future understand that the cabin is at over 2900 foot elevation up the mountain. We called a Lyft to take us to the grocery store that night we arrived. Warn others to come prepared. Only one Lyft driver would come to us. She had never been that high up before. The cabin was wonderful and comfortable. The driveway scrubbed my SUV each time we went in and out. We are in our late 50s early 60s. This information would have been very helpful.

The cabin was very clean and well stocked for are stay. The kids enjoyed the games and the hot tub. We watched movies and did some door dashing and saw six bears right outside the cabin along with a coyote and two deer. The cabin was beautiful!!!!

The hot tub was perfect after long days on our feet and the games were fun for enjoying the evenings. The driveway was tight for my F150. Getting in the driveway was fine. Backing out was more of a struggle. After a couple of days coming going I got the hang of a way that worked well for us.

Nice cozy cabin in the hills but close to town and SMNP. Steep drive up so must be comfortable driving. Felt like we were in a treehouse. Saw 10 bears. Owners were easy to communicate with and welcoming.

We had a very nice stay at this cabin - loved that we saw bears everyday; one greeted us on the driveway when we arrived! Cabin was very clean, nicely decorated. Showers were hot with good pressure. We enjoyed the air hockey -could not get arcade to work but we were there to sightsee. Enjoyed sitting out on the deck . Getting up to the cabin was a bit tricky with steepness and curves of the road but once there we felt like we were in a treehouse! Property manager got back to us quickly when we had trouble with WiFi . Overall a pleasant stay and you will have a great chance of seeing bears as you try through Chalet Village!

When we first arrived the code we received would not work to get into the cabin. After about 30 minutes of calling and texting we received the correct code and was able to check in. The cabin looked to be clean, but there was evidence of mice throughout our stay, we notified the owners. This cabin is high on the mountain with no yard space to walk your dog, this should have been specified. There were a great deal of bear activity, with 5 different sightings during our stay and no working outside light. Also, there were no blinds or curtains on the front windows or side windows, so privacy was limited.

We loved this rental. The deck was nice out back, we enjoyed having morning coffee before we started our day. Great location to see bear. We saw 4 in 2 days and they came right up the driveway to the side of the house. The game room was nice. The rental had everything we needed.

Wonderful stay

Really enjoyed this place. Loved being in the woods and seeing trees from every window. We saw too many bears to count during our week stay(none on the property but all around the neighborhood). My 12 year old really loved the hot tub, arcade game and air hockey. Location was perfect for all major attractions and much better than staying downtown.

Perfect Long Weekend Getaway

We loved our stay at this cottage. The location is perfect, short drive to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We were hoping to see bears and were not disappointed. We saw 4 bears on two separate occasions while sitting on the deck. The cottage is super cute and cozy. It has all the necessities, including kitchen equipment and bbq. My daughter loved spending time in the hot tub and having breakfast on the deck. The ice hockey table was a nice touch and kept my daughter entertained. The cottage is at the top of some very steep roads, but our car handled it fine in the clear conditions.

Spring Break Tennessee Trip

The house was beautiful and was set up for family fun. We enjoyed the open concept and the games area. The kitchen had the tools we needed. We really appreciated being able to have our dog with us, and she enjoyed the cozy blankets that were there for her. The only thing that was unexpected was the steep drive up to the house. It would be helpful to have known more about that in the listing.

While calling Atlanta home for many years, we decided to move and invest in the great state of Tennessee. We look forward to retiring in the Great Smokey Mountains. We started our first enterprise in Pigeon Forge in 2012 with our cabin "Pampered Camper". Unfortunately, it was completely destroyed in the fire of November 2016. With great love and belief in the area, we have reinvested in 2 adjoining cabin homes located in Chalet Village in Gatlinburg. Renovations have just been completed and we look forward to many great years in this area.
