Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We liked the staying here and we might like to stay again. My wife wrote suggestions yesterday. I would have like access an hour or two earlier than 4 PM upon arrival. On the back porch next to the hinges of the gate, there is a loose vertical bar in the railing.

House was basic but comfortable. Bed in master was super soft, which is not my preference, but others may like it. House was showing signs of wear (broken cabinet door, no coffee pot, sliding patio door rusted, kitchen drawers all mixed up, walls looked dingy and dirty) but in their defense it was the end of peak rental season. Could definitely use paint and steam clean of all furniture etc. Rental company was very responsive and nice to work with. House was pretty dirty on our arrival and they sent out someone to fix it right away. They communicated frequently asking if they could do anything to improve our stay. Pool was nice, and we could easily walk to pier area for restaurants, tennis courts, etc. Beach was crowded (Labor Day wkend) but only about a 5 min walk! Liked the high table/chairs for two on the back deck for coffee:-)

I’m very sorry the unit showed signs of wear and arrived in less-than‑clean condition — that should not have happened. I’m glad our team was able to send someone out promptly to address the cleaning, and I’ve reported the broken cabinet door, missing coffee pot, rust on the sliding door, disorganized drawers, and the need for deep cleaning/painting and furniture steam-cleaning to our housekeeping and maintenance teams so they can make repairs and improvements. I’ll also pass along your note about the master mattress so the owner can evaluate options. Thank you again for letting us know — your feedback helps us improve. We hope to welcome you back to Portobello I 315.
