This property was AMAZING!!!! We enjoyed the view of the beach and the pool. The property manager was amazing! Communication before ,during, and after was top tier. We want to come back. It was what the family needed!

Nice unit and location

unit was lovely. Location great too. Only issue we had was cleanliness of unit. Lint catcher full in dryer upon arrival, one trash bag only and there are 3 trash bins in kitchen, and twin beds missing linens. Condo is lovely.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had to delay our vacation in Myrtle Beach due to a medical emergency and needed to move to another condo for three nights. The Anchorage gave us a beautiful place to land during a stressful time. The condo was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. They were very ompassionate and helpful for our situation accommodating us by having the unit ready for us early in the day which made our move more effortless. Would book here again in a minute.

July Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: At the request of D. Osborne - this review is being written by one of his guest.The reservation/booking experience was seamless - communication up until arrival good and we were notified our room was ready an hour early. On arrival - we found the overall property to be dirty - sand on decking outside door, common trashcans full/overflowing until Monday. The elevator had a wet floor and smelled of urine. We stayed in the same unit as we did last year and found many of the things we reported last year to not be fixed. The shower curtain had mold - there was a kids yogurt pouch behind the TV console (makes you question how clean anything is). The doorknob to the unit almost fell off in our hand - surely this was reported by the last guest or at the very least the cleaning crew. It was fixed by the guy that came by to fix the TV's. NONE of the TV's worked when we got there - there were missing remotes for at least 2 of the TV's, they were a challenge to operate even once they were set-up by the technician. There needs to be instructions on how to operate the TVS. The kitchen lacks adequate supplies to cook a meal - The washer made a horrible noise - the headboards in the guest room rock back and forth and movement will wake others in the room sleeping, the fan in the guest room makes noise - all reported last year along with TV issues. There are not enough linen (blankets or covers if someone uses the sleep sofa.) We could only find 1 blanket - there was not to indicate if that had been washed or cleaned between guest. Overall the unit felt dingy and nothing new or updated, really lacking - yet the price went up. The one good thing - the AC did work good. I have stayed at Anchorage II for over 35years in many of the units. The overall appearance, general upkeep and lack of property management staff/housekeeping on arrival was disappointing. Hoping some improvements will be made in the coming year.

The location to the ocean is a major factor in staying at Anchorage 2. The unit has a great view of the ocean from the balcony. And Buckets restaurant is next door, a short walk from Anchorage 2. We look forward to returning to Unit 304 in October 2025.

Best First Family Vacation Ever!

Family Vacation

We had a nice time at the Anchorage II. The unit was perfect with the perfect view! Although it rained a little we were still able to enjoy the beach. Great location!

Our stay would have only been better if we had access to cleaning supplies during the week. The vacuum cleaner did not work well and left a bad smell. It looked like someone had cleaned wet sand with it prior to our arrival. A better broom would have helped also. Overall though we truly enjoyed being back at Myrtle Beach!

The only issues was the dishwasher- didn’t clean very good and we wished there were beach umbrellas (some provide some don’t) . Maintenance responded right away about the dishwasher. We ended up borrowing an umbrella so it all worked! Would rent again!

Wonderful week at Anchorage II

This is our 3rd year at Anchorage (8th year at Myrtle) and we have definitely found our favorite oceanfront stay! Not far from Murrell’s Inlet or Conway where some of our favorite restaurants are! Great location for groceries or ice cream! We love the walk across the street to the beach, this is our home away from home!

Bedbugs in master bedroom

Woke u at 2am being bitten by bedbugs. Turned on the lights and found LOTS of bedbugs in our bed. Had to get rid of clothes and luggage. Was also hard to get hold of the manager

Every experience has been awesome-clean units, perfect views from every unit, great people, and basically no matter what unit you are in you are ocean front. The grounds are kept beautifully and you feel like you are in paradise! I love the elevator and the carts are a great help when having groceries delivered ! I have recommended to family and they have stayed as well. Looks like we are going back next year for our 4th stay.
