We have preserved the timeless character of this historic bungalow while upgrading it for modern travel. The interior features a bright, open layout with air conditioning and fast WiFi, but the real magic is outside. Unlike many beach rentals, Emberlight offers your own private gas fire pit (exclusive to this unit), making it the ultimate spot to unwind with a glass of wine after a day at the beach.

Restful weekend

Looking for a nice spot just to get away for a weekend and Avila Beach didn't disappoint. The Bungalows were a nice, clean and quiet environment just 1 block from the beach and boardwalk - yet still quiet and restful.

Lovely, cozy studio. Clean with lots of natural light. The biggest draw is being a block away from the beach, it was so lovely to be so close, and they even have beach chairs. Parking took us a minute to find, only because the driveway is around the corner from the street the unit is actually on, but once we figured it out it was super simple. Definitely a great stay if you just need a simple place to lay your head before exploring the surrounding towns.

Great! Close to everything. Comfy beds. Quiet neighborhood at night. Loved having the fire pit. Only disappointing aspect, was thinking there was an electric charger for the car and there was not. When requesting info about it, Info was incomplete. We figured out other things but that was a bummer. Parking was in very tight spots. Easy walk for beach and many restaurants.

The property is super cute and you can't beat the proximity to the beach! We had a private patio with fire pit and it was the perfect ambiance to enjoy a night cap.Communication with the host was a little lacking and I still haven't received a response after I told him our toilet was clogged within the first hour of arrival on Saturday. We had to manually scoop out the water and try various tricks from the Internet because there was no plunger.
