We understand your concerns regarding the complex. As noted in our property description, Kona Plaza does have ongoing exterior work, which can affect the common areas and appearance. We’re truly sorry, but the pool closure notice was not shared with us by the onsite management in a timely manner, which prevented us from letting you know in advance. We make it a priority to promptly inform our guests of any work as soon as we are notified. We realize how important pool access can be and regret that this impacted your stay. We appreciate your comments and will continue to communicate updates from the complex as quickly and clearly as possible.
