Kihei Bay Surf is a cozy 2 story complex of 80 studio condos across the street from the beach. The complex is well kept and clean, with a great pool and jacuzzi area, complete with lounge chairs, 2 barbecues and tables, tennis court, laundry room, and plenty of parking. Our condo is a second floor unit, with private lanai overlooking the tennis court and pool area. Recently remodeled, it has everything to make your stay relaxing and comfortable. Kitchen is fully equipped with all you need to prepare your meals and dine in, coffee maker,toaster, crock pot, ice maker and blender for those drinks on the lanai! It has a very comfortable queen size bed, 32 inch flat screen TV, DVD player, cable, wireless internet, and phone with free nationwide and Canada calls. Pay per view can be arranged. There is a radio CD cassette player or you can play music Cd's in the DVD player, so bring your favorites. Dresser with 3 big drawers and a closet for hanging clothes, so unpack, put suitcases in closet, and stay awhile! There is an ironing board and iron, as well as a clothes basket for your convenience. Condo is uncluttered and roomy, with 12 foot of glass across front wall. With a fan in the vaulted ceiling, the air conditioner hardly gets used, as with locking front door security screen, front door can be left open and the islands ocean breeze flows right thru the condo. There are tennis racquets and balls in the closet, along with chairs for the beach, cooler, beach towels, boogie board, and air mattress for pool. Across the street is Kalepolepo Park and the NOAA Humpback Whale sanctuary. The sunsets are magnificent from this stretch of beach, that runs continuously all the way around the bay to the Maui Ocean Center, approx. 8 miles, making a great place for a morning walk or run. Lahaina is 45 minutes away, where you can take a ferry to Lanai or Molakai, or whale watching cruises, snorkeling trips out to Molokini.This complex is perfectly located and quiet and this condo is the perfect home base for all your Maui activities.
