My family had a great time. The house was large and very comfortable. Great spot with access to the lake for fishing and kayaking. We are already planning a return trip!

Older property, well maintain, gas hot water heater so plenty of hot water for showers. TV needs more instructions with it. TV is in main bedroom which is a little different, but didn't matter to us. We were 4 friends & felt that this was good place for us. Had nice time & would stay there again

Four women on year 40 of getting together each summer. We stayed at Alpine lake 10 years ago, but in a different property not by the lake. This old log house is perfect in terms of location. Our absolute favorite is the porch and experiencing the lake in the early morning sun, afternoon and evening! What a delight. The beds are comfortable and the showers hot. The kitchen has a nice selection of stainless steel pots and kitchen gadgets. The stairs to the upstairs do not have a banister, so only one of us braved that. We did know that beforehand from the listing. The steps to the porch to get into the house are a bit ancient, but you can go in and then use the garage to enter the house and carry all of your stuff in. All in all, a beautiful week in a comfortable historic log cabin. I would recommend this to you!

Alpine lake cabin

We enjoyed our stay but definitely did miss having air conditioning in the middle of summer. The lake is less than a stone's throw from the front porch and it has the most beautiful sunrises. The neighbors directly beside the cabin aren't the friendliest but most everyone else seemed nice enough. The boys caught 10 or more fish each in about 3 hours of fishing.

The cabin was very comfortable, however it would have been nice to have lighting in the middle of the living room. It was rather dark in there even with the other lights on.

Alpine Lake Manor was a great fall retreat! The house sits on the lake, so we got a great view of the geese, ducks, & a beautiful great blue heron, along wirh the autumn color-changing leaves! The house had some great antique finds such as a hand made/sewn notebook, a wonderful vase ala Frank Lloyd Wright, and a window shutter wall hanging of the Raven by Edgar Alan Poe. The listing states it has one bathroom and photos show two. In reality, there are three full bathrooms! All on rhe first floor. Spacious house with everything you need. Being a log cabun, the living room is quite dark inside. There are a lot of lamps, but still dark. Also, there are no railings on the stairs to the second floor. The front porch railings are lose, too. So, not siutable for young children or older folks with mobility issues. Overall though, it was great. Sitting on rhe porch was the highlight.

Fantastic lake front property. Historic rustic log cabin. Had everything you could want. Beautiful views. One thing of note, the upstairs bedrooms use a bathroom on the lower level. Just something to be aware of. Would stay here again in the future.
