My family came and stayed a week here in May,we had an amazing time, the house was so clean and well updated, the kayaks made for a great time for us all,we really enjoyed the fire pit outback every night of our stay for smores, the beds r so comfy, the host was amazing and easy to contact,we will definitely be coming to stay again at creekside cottage, can't say enough good things about this place,we just got home and miss it badly,my only regret is that we didn't book our stay for longer.
Perfect setting to comfortably slip away for a laid back weekend with family. The much needed sunshine on the dock & dinner spots like Niffer’s & Lake Martin Pizza Co was what we needed. We’ll be back.
Our stay at this Lake Martin Vrbo rental was absolutely perfect! The location was ideal—just 10 minutes from town and close to great hiking trails, making it a fantastic getaway for both relaxation and adventure. The backyard view was stunning, and we loved unwinding in the hammock while soaking up the sunshine. The fire pit was another highlight, especially with firewood conveniently available on the property and at the base of the road—it made for the perfect star-gazing experience! The hosts were incredibly friendly, communicative, and easy to work with, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Plus, they were welcoming to our three dogs, which meant so much to us!We highly recommend this rental and can’t wait to come back for another peaceful retreat on the lake!
We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Creekside Cottage on Lake Martin! The property was incredibly clean, very well kept, and everything worked exactly as it should—which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free.Kim was an amazing host from start to finish—super friendly, responsive, and made us feel right at home. You can tell she really cares about her guests having a great experience. The amenities were a huge highlight for us. We loved being able to use the kayaks, and the fire pit made for some great evenings relaxing by the water. My son, nephew, and their friends had an absolute blast the entire time—it was one of those trips they’ll be talking about for a long time.Another big plus—there are a lot of great restaurants within a 20-minute drive, so you’ve got plenty of options nearby. And even if the weather isn’t perfect, there are board games and a TV with Wi-Fi to keep everyone entertained.Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay and exactly what we were hoping for. We’re already looking forward to coming back again soon. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great Lake Martin getaway!
We had the best time on our last vacation of the summer! The kids and dogs had a blast paddle boarding and kayaking! The house was very clean and big enough for us all. The beds were comfortable and you can’t beat the view you wake up too! 10/10 recommend and we are already planning our return trip next summer! Mrs. Kim was super responsive and answered all of my questions and was so nice to work with!
We loved our quiet getaway on the lake! The house is stocked with plenty of "lake toys"-- the kids' favorites were the lily pad and kayaks. The close access to the lake from the house was so nice, and the grassy yard full of trees was lovely.
