Easter Weekeend

Perfect spot for our family to meet up for Easter. We enjoyed the kayaks and dock. Played games. Easy drive into Auburn for church (or a game in the Fall).

The lake level was low but this was as advertised for this time of year- we were able to put the boats in on the side without too much issue and had very peaceful rows. Overall we had a nice trip and will be back. The host also recommended sone hikes and the Smith Fire Tower 10 min away was stunningly beautiful.

The property was really nice. It was easy to get in and out. If you were going back to the property in the dark be sure to leave the outside lights on, so it’s easier to see the driveway coming back. The host was great. I love that. There was very little you had to do before you left, and the mattresses on every bed were very comfortable to sleep on. That was a plus since my husband and I both have bad backs. Lots of board games for children and family time together, but if the adults need a quiet space, the game room and the living room,are separated for some quiet time spots. The kayaks and the paddle boards were very nice to have on site. We were able to enjoy a paddling on the lake. I highly recommend this Home away from home.

The house is nice. The kitchen is very small for the family Thanksgiving gathering we had planned. Honestly the house is great but truly needs a thorough cleaning! Things were left behind like drink cans and the grill uncovered with dirty utensils. It’s little things that could be improved upon to receive a five star review.

Absolutely love the property! Second time we’ve been blessed to stay here. Located back in a slough with a connecting creek. Kayaking is awesome. Eight minutes away from grocery stores and civilization. Easy boat rental, but a difficult area if inexperienced boat driver. Can’t go wrong with this property!
