Communication with host was easy. Cabin was clean and inviting. Special touches, including bears, christmas decorations and Christmas tree (my favorite) were really appreciated.

Cabin was very nice and location was great. We were close to things on the Parkway, but far enough out that it didn't feel that way. Bed was comfortable. Driveway is very steep, but that lends to the privacy. Hot tub was great with lights and bluetooth speakers. We had an issue with entry, but owner was quick to help. My only recommendation for other guests is to take all the things you'll need for cooking - kitchen was stocked with basic cookware and utensils and there's salt and pepper, but nothing else. Most of the cabins we've stayed in have a few things like oil, basic spices, etc., but there's none of that in this cabin, so take it with you if you plant to cook. And you need to take out your trash when you leave - that kind of bugs me when there's that much of a cleaning fee, but we'd still stay again without a doubt!

Hi Christy,
We are so glad you enjoyed your stay at Our Cabin and really appreciate your suggestions. Because all things tend to spoil, we do not leave any food items beyond salt and pepper, coffee pods and non-dairy creamer at the cabin. As to the trash, our cleaners must pay the county in order that they may carry away the trash our guests carry out to the cans. I hope you understand.
Cabin was very nice. Washer and dryer was convenient and easy to use. A little disappointed with the view, too many trees to see much.

Response from VrboOwner on 23 October 2025
Thanks, Susan. Our Cabin is private and quiet and very woodsy. Unfortunately trees grow and over time have obscured an otherwise beautiful view of Bluff Mountain in the distance. After the leaves fall in the next few weeks, things look very different.

Clean quiet peaceful just what we needed. Easy access to everything. Very satisfied.

Thanks, Terrence for your review. Our Cabin Bluff Mountain is peace and quiet itself, and only minutes from the Parkway, Gatlinburg, Great Smoky Mountains National Park , and Wears Valley (backdoor to SMNP). Pigeon Forge has been voted the best family vacation in America. And it just keeps getting better.
Thanks for your review, Heather. Privacy and accessibility to area attractions are two outstanding features of Our Cabin Bluff Mountain. We hope to have you as guests again.

Cabin was great. Excellent location and nicely furnished. Had everything we needed plus some extra surprises…laundry pods, coffee and creamer with filters, plenty of towels, and my husband loved the bed pillows. Hostess was attentive and The one negative surprise was the sulpher water. Didn’t remember reading this in any reviews or info. In all, it’s a good place to stay!

Thanks Kim for reviewing your stay. The hills of Tennessee surrounding Our Cabin in Pigeon Forge are beautiful, tranquil, and the water is mineral rich. A very sophisticated water filtration system by King Pure Water ensures the well water is pure and safe. We hope to have you with us again.

About the host
Hosted by Randall and Mary Garmon
Mary and I grew up and still reside in the Atlanta, Georgia, area. Married for 46 years, she's a retired teacher, and I'm a preacher. We fell in love with Pigeon Forge over a decade ago and decided to become part of it. So, we bought our first cabin in Eagle's Ridge Resort and now our second here at Bluff Mountain. We wish to extend to all our guests the same warmth and hospitality we feel every time we come here. (Romans 12:13)
Why they chose this property
We wanted a place a little more removed from the high traffic and activity on the Parkway, but still close enough to enjoy them when we want. Our Cabin at Bluff Mountain is the best of both worlds. Five miles from the Parkway, nestled atop its own little hill, you can enjoy the quiet and repose of the country, surrounded by the Smoky Mountains. Private but not remote: look up at a brilliant starry night sky, listen to wildlife, and enjoy a quiet moment sipping coffee on the front porch. Then, when you're ready, take a short and picturesque drive into town - enjoy dinner and the theater, shopping, or schedule a zip line or white-water rafting adventure. Swimming, bowling, golf, and tennis are just a few minutes away. This cabin is perfect for a couple's romantic getaway or a small group or family retreat.
What makes this property unique
The privacy of a hilltop cabin. Convenient and easy access via well maintained, paved roads. All the comforts of a romantic, mountain escape. The nature and wonder of the Smoky Mountains, the Alpine charm of Gatlinburg and the fun and activity of Pigeon Forge just minutes away. Its all here.
