About this property

A beautiful hidden gem in West Bath, Maine.

Welcome to Birch Point!

Step into serenity at Birch Point, a charming 4-bedroom, 2-bath cottage perched on the rugged Maine coast, offering sweeping open-ocean views of Winnegance Bay in historic West Bath, Maine. Whether you're here for restful mornings, lively evenings, or simply to reconnect with the water, this is your slice of coastal paradise.

Outdoor Bliss:
Begin each day with the salty sea breeze on the covered, wrap-around deck, perfect for sipping morning coffee or winding down with an evening cocktail.
Fire up the grill and enjoy steak nights, or steam lobsters for a true Maine feast.
Launch kayaks or paddleboards directly from the dock. With 4 kayaks and 4 SUPs included, you're ready for adventures! No packing required!
After a dip in the bay? Rinse off with the outdoor shower or let the dog shake off the salt under the open sky.

Indoor Comfort & Fun:
Enter through a large three-season “hangout/game” room, outfitted with a ping-pong table, dartboard, board games, and poker set — great for both relaxing downtime and entertaining.
The first floor includes three of the four bedrooms:
Two twin beds
Bunk beds (2 twin)
Primary bedroom with a king bed and private ensuite (stand-up shower)
Step down a couple of stairs into the bright, open-concept kitchen, dining, and living area. The fourth bedroom, with a full bed, is off the kitchen, as is the second full bath (tub/shower combo).
Cozy up by the fireplace on cool evenings, or unwind in front of the large flat-screen TV. Walls of windows and sliding glass doors flood the space with natural light and ocean panoramas.

Extras:
A separate garage just steps from the house includes a screened-in porch right on the water and a peaceful nook to read, dine, or just soak in the view.
One of the most delightful perks? You can order fresh lobsters for dock-side delivery. Imagine lobster dinner without leaving the dock!

Family vacation

We had a wonderful stay in Birch Point! We were mesmerized by the view and spent much of our time sitting on the deck and taking it in. The house was well appointed and as described. Plenty of room for our family. In Birch point you feel like you are tucked away from it all, but anything you need is just a short distance away. We would definitely recommend and look forward to visiting again in the future!

Gorgeous Home & tranquil setting

My adult kids, our long time friends, and our fur babies enjoyed our stay immensely. The house was surprisingly very large and honestly was one of the best properties we have rented over the years in Maine. It had a nice big open living room, 4 bedrooms to accommodate us all, plus a trundle bed in the screened in ping pong porch. It came equipped with kayaks and paddleboards so we didn't have to lug ours from NJ. Our dogs loved the property too. It was safe, tranquil, the neighbors were friendly and kind. Kitchen was well equipped and had everything one could possibly need. It was a rough year for us. We lost my husband from Cancer & we really needed to heal. We got to do that here. Thank you!! Beautiful place, highly recommend!
