Party House
Incredibly loud, raucous parties went on over two nights. The apartment was adequate, but with no soundproofing, and the utter failure of the property manager to manage the property, I will never stay here again.I booked this unit for my family specifically because it said no parties or events on the property. When we entered we instantly heard loud conversations, heavy footsteps, music, and scraping furniture upstairs. I sent a message to the property owner about the party above us, and texted the property manager who simply replied that quiet hours began at 11pm. The party wound down by 11 (somehow I got my 8- and 3-year olds to sleep by then), but conversations above went until well after midnight.During the second night, the party seemed louder. We notified the property manager immediately, who promised to take action, and when I called a second time half an hour later he reported that he was coming to remove the guests for violating the house rules. I heard a woman yelling “hey, we need to be quiet!”, which had no impact. The party seemed to grow louder. I sent repeated messages to the property manager and owner, but only got late word from the manager that he was “trying to fix things.” The party wrapped up after 11, with conversations, heavy footsteps, and scraping furniture continuing.The owner needs to soundproof, or bare minimum enforce the no party rules. Will not return.
