Craftsman style cabin with 2 bedrooms (PLEASE NOTE: both bedrooms upstairs a winding staircase. Not advisable for guests with mobility issues), 2 baths, fenced in yard and large deck with BBQ. Kitchen, with all utensils needed for cooking. Big screen HD TV and DVD Blu Ray player. Free reliable hi-speed WIFI. Accessible boat parking on property. Washer and Dryer available and yard is pet friendly with large fenced in yard and deck area. Cozy fireplace with wood and kindling available to light the perfect fire. Home is a few miles from the beach and downtown Gold Beach.

An incredible property just above a beach access at Kissing Rock. Completely fenced in yard which was perfect for our dogs. A quick drive into Gold Beach for food. This is probably our favorite rental property we’ve ever gotten! It was a wonderful home base for our vacation in Redwoods country!

This is a great place to stay in Gold Beach. The house is a lovely home with lots of cabin-y character and nicely decorated. Good vibes here! The beds were comfortable and the deck perfect for relaxing. Really, this is a top spot in Gold Beach. Lots of clean white towels, a great bathtub, nice quality kitchen that is great for cooking, laundry, and lots of charm. Loved it. Thank you so much.

This home is so much fun. The spiral staircase is a good time and the house makes you feel like you are in a cabin! Best part of the property was the yard itself though- home is in a quiet location, huge deck, beautiful trees that provide a feeling of privacy and fully fenced. We really enjoyed the Adirondack chairs and the hummingbirds.

Wonderful stay!

The house is wonderful with a ton of classic cabin character. We loved the spiral tree staircase and the comfort of the furnishings. I would happily stay here again when visiting Gold Beach.

Nautical house was perfect for us and our dogs. We loved having a comfortable and cozy spot from which we hiked, rode many many miles on our bikes, prepared delicious food (your recommendation for pizza was spot on and we are there twice) and just relaxed . Both my husband and I thought this was our best vacation ever and that’s saying a lot!!!

Relaxing!

Gorgeous property surrounded by woods.

We enjoyed every day of our stay. The house has a nautical/fishing vibe and the property is huge. Very private area surrounded by woods. The beach is a five minute drive away. Definitely our favorite place to stay in Gold Beach!

We absolutely love Carter House. The house is located in a private location with a fully fenced in yard where our dogs can run and explore. It is situated very close to beaches so the salty sea air wafts in and creates the "on the beach" atmosphere. Leslie is created the magical coastal experience where we are sure to return again.

We live in Gold Beach and moved from Southern California because we fell in love with this area. We have two yellow labs, enjoy fishing the Rogue River for Chinook Salmon, walking on the local beaches and hiking.

Why they chose this property

We have been coming up to the Gold Beach area for over 12 years and always wanted to make Gold Beach our home. We loved the Rogue river, the ocean, and the beautiful nature all around the area. Deer roam around the yard and you can walk your dog on the beach with hardly seeing another person. This home was built by a long time resident of Gold Beach and we instantly fell in love with this fine home.

What makes this property unique

This home is quiet and nestled so that you are out of the wind. You can hear the ocean at night and the rustling of the trees. Ample parking for boat and car. You are out of the way, yet close to town, beach, river and all attractions. World class golf course, Bandon Dunes is 1 hour away and smaller golf course, Cedar Bend is minutes away.
