About the host
Hosted by Whitney Mosser

The Mosser family in its entirety has moved upstate and all are now Lovells residents. On top of these lovely cabins we own the Lovells Riverside Tavern, and a large lodge and cabin down the road. We enjoy expanding the lodging industry because more people need to know about Lovells! Its a gorgeous town, with some of the kindest residents, and beautiful natural landscapes. It is also a hot spot for hunting, small and big game, Trout fishing, and tons more on the AuSable river. If you choose to stay here you will not be disappointed, please feel free to reach out to us for assistance with finding any recreational to do!
Why they chose this property
Our family chose this location because it is a beautiful hidden gem. We have fallen in love with our residents, and all our annual travelers. The nature life here is fantastic and a great escape from city life. Mike & Jenn started the adventure with their purchase of the lodge and Tavern, and shortly after their daughters Whitney and Jenna followed, including their grandchildren. If you're looking for a fun family spot, or just a quiet place to get away, this could be the spot for you.
What makes this property unique
This property was built in 1951, when the logging business was in full swing. The bridge between the Tavern and the Cabins used to be a bridge for the train that carried the logs across the river. These cabins were also used to home the logging workers during their stays. There is a ton of history behind both the Tavern and Cabins, the Tavern dating back to 1941. The best part is that these cabins are the original logs and ascetic.
