Hidden Creek Cottage: Creekside, Hot Tub, Arcade, Foosball, Outdoor Games, Pets
The Hidden Creek Cottage is a family-friendly jewel, nestled at the end of a lane, surrounded by towering trees with private trails leading to creek access on 5 acres of seclusion. There is no better place to find peace and quiet to create lasting memories for family and friends. This one story, 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath cabin is loaded with things to do for all ages, comfortably sleeping 12 (10 with all adults). With various indoor and outdoor games, 7 smart TVs throughout, two campfire pits, a basketball cage, large kitchen and open living space, your family will find a home away from home. Even the four legged kids can come along! (Additional pet fee of $50/night and limited to 2 dogs. Please keep off furniture and bedding to preserve for future guests.).
Hidden Creek Cottage offers 3 king bedrooms with en-suite baths, each with their own smart TV to stream your favorite app (live TV provided by YoutubeTV), and their own Keurig coffeemaker so you don't have to disturb anyone else on those early mornings trying to brew that morning pick-me-up. The master bedroom and bathroom have access to the back deck as well as a separate walk-in shower and soaker tub. There is an additional bunk room with 4 full mattresses. The bunk room doubles as a game room with a foosball table, arcade table, books, games, and wet bar.
The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher and icemaker and a long island to gather around while making those family meals together, whether you use the stainless steel stovetop or the propane grill on the covered deck. The large living room has a wall of windows to take in the serene view and offers comfortable seating with a gas fireplace.
Off of the living room is a laundry with washer and dryer and a half bath with access to the gated back deck near the roomy hot tub and outdoor shower. The outdoor shower lets you rinse off before and after your soak or romp in the creek and is available March-October, weather permitting.
The large outdoor back deck includes many options to enhance the day and night. Enjoy a glass of your favorite beverage while you soak in the hot tub in front of a double-sided gas fireplace with Smart TVs on each side. Relax in the cozy conversation pit before the other side of the fireplace or enjoy a picnic at the outdoor dining. Play basketball, cornhole, giant Connect 4, throw an axe (plastic of course), or build a campfire in the nearby fire pit. Walk the many private trails that starts at the bottom of the deck stairs to the back of the large 5 acre property where an additional fire pit will greet you on the banks of the creek. The level of the creek water is determined by rainfall amounts but always has a little something to relax near.
Hidden Creek sits at the end of a cul-de-sac with a pull-through driveway and additional parking, making it easy access for multiple vehicles and/or trailers. Within a 10 minute drive from Hochatown, it's near all the fun without being in the busiest of place.

Our stay at this Broken Bow cabin was absolutely perfect! The home itself is beautiful—spotless, well-designed, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail felt thoughtful, from the cozy interiors to the high-end amenities that made it feel like a true retreat. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, surrounded by nature, yet close enough to everything we wanted to do. We especially loved how inviting the space felt—it was the perfect place to unwind and make great memories. This cabin exceeded our expectations in every way, and we can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an amazing Broken Bow getaway!
Perfect place for a family getaway! We had a great time and everyone was able to relax and unwind. This house has everything you could possibly need! It has a fully stocked kitchen, games, plus extra thick blankets to use to cozy up. It was a great property. I love the decor inside the house. 10/10 would recommend.
Property was perfect for the teenage boys this weekend. They loved going to the creek in the back, the bunk room was amazing!! Overall we were all very pleased with the entire place
We loved location! kids loved creek and went swimming a couple of times. The house was great! We had the best time just outside on porches and walking around exploring! Will definitely return!
This is my family's first time in Broken Bow and the home was the perfect introduction! Upon arrival, we were floored by how beautiful and secluded this place was. We enjoyed all the amenities and hiked down to the Hidden Creek. Probably the best part: My kids disconnected! I think we found our yearly getaway.
Rooms were clean and cottage over all was very nice. However, patio had not been cleaned at all. We had to wash off the table which still had food on it. Also, We rented for 5 nights with 6 adults and the cottage only had 3 dishwashing pods under the sink and 4 trash bags. Not near enough for that long of a stay. Also, the bath towels were very badly stained! Didn't look clean at all. Dish towels were put away in cabinet still wet.

Thank you for your thoughtful feedback. We truly value your insights, as they help us enhance our guests' experiences.
We're delighted the rooms were clean and the cabin felt welcoming overall. That said, we're genuinely sorry for the unclean patio table, damp dish towels, and stained bath towels. We indeed launder between every guest but this appears to fall short of our standards, and we'll immediately address it with our cleaning team to prevent in the future.
Also, we provide a starter kit (including 3 dishwasher pods and 4 trash bags) with a note to bring extras for extended stays or larger groups in our check-in instructions provided at the time of booking. We understand how 5 nights with 6 adults would require more, and we're sorry for the inconvenience. Had we heard from you during your visit, we'd have gladly delivered additional items right away and swapped towels.
If there's anything we can do to make this right or prepare for a future stay, please reach out to us.

Advertising to be pet friendly then has signs all throughout the house about pets on couches or beds. The bunk room has no lock on the door. I stayed in the bunk room with my 3 kids and there is no place to shower besides going through someone else’s bedroom and using their shower. Far out from most activities. Noticable cobweb on my door jam of the bunk room. Although no fault of the owner the creek was not what we thought it would be- it was disappointing.

Thank you for your feedback and for choosing our cabin for your stay. We’re sorry to hear it didn’t fully meet your expectations, and we’d like to address your concerns to provide clarity for future guests.
Our listing and house rules do note that while we warmly welcome pets, we ask that they stay off furniture to maintain cleanliness and comfort for all guests. The bunk room does not have a lock for child safety reasons, as we prioritize ensuring young guests are secure. The bathroom and bedroom layout is detailed in the listing to set clear expectations before booking.
We strive to be transparent about the cabin’s location, noting its proximity to area amenities (within a 10-minute drive) while offering a secluded retreat from busier areas. We’re sorry the creek’s water levels, which can fluctuate due to rainfall, were not as expected. Regarding the cobweb, we clean thoroughly between stays, but as you noted, they can reappear quickly in a natural setting. Had we been contacted during your stay, we would have gladly addressed this promptly.
We appreciate your input and regret that we didn’t hear from you during your visit, as we’re always ready to assist. We hope you enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and welcome you back at one of our other properties that may fit your needs better. We are happy to answer any questions to help our guests decide which property is best for them.
My wife, our kids, her brother and his family and my in-laws stayed at this cabin for the 4th. The first thing that is important is that I found the property to be much nicer than what I expected from the pics. The design of the house makes it look kind of like an older log cabin that has had the interior renovated. That’s now what this is. This is a new’ish house that is beautiful. The kids bunk beds were some of the best bunks I’ve ever seen and the room was perfect for them. The other three rooms for the adults were all perfect. The back porch is where we spent a large majority of our time and it was beautiful and secluded. The location of the property is not far off the main road, but is a good bit north of Hochatown. Depending on what you are there for this could be a good or a bad thing. We liked being out of the traffic of the town, so it was perfect for us. There were only two things we would change. First, there was no connected bathroom for the kids, so they had to use their parents bathroom. This was only a minor inconvenience and was, in my opinion, reflected in the price. Second was the smell from the septic system. All of the homes up here are on septic systems and the sprinklers that keep the vegetation around the property nice and green must be from the septic system, because every time they came on we smelled sewage. Frankly this was usually short lived and was only noticed because of the amount of time we spent outside, but it was worth mentioning.

Thank you for your feedback! We are thrilled that your family enjoyed and had a great time making lasting memories! This cabin was completed in February of '25 so is indeed new with modern amenities. Our septic sprinklers are inspected and treated monthly and are set to go off in the wee hours of the morning unless demand triggers it, so as not to bother people for the brief period they are running. We'll double check the system and make sure everything is in tip top shape. Again, we are pleased you had a wonderful visit and we hope to hodt you again soon.
Perfect Hochatown Getaway for Large Groups! Our group of 11 had more than enough room. The layout is very family-friendly. The hot tub and firepit were big hits in the evenings. The creek behind the cabin is a beautiful short hike and the kids had fun catching baby crawfish by the water. The kitchen had everything we needed and the layout of the house was spacious. The location is secluded enough to feel private, but still close to everything Hochatown has to offer within a short scenic drive. Overall, an excellent experience for our family reunion.

We are sorry this guest was disappointed but we aren't sure what they are referring to as this cabin is indeed pet friendly. We welcome up to 2 dogs for the additional pet fee. We hope to better understand how we could have earned those final 2 stars.
