We had a great time! Couple of things … recommend blinds that block light a bit better, and an additional chair for dining table. The road construction done in evening made sleep almost impossible - glad I had headphones. Out of your control - might be good to check in future. Thanks for sharing your home!
This property was renovated and done very well. The beds are comfortable and enough space for everyone and nice to have 2 full bathrooms. The kitchen was very clean and well stocked. It was nice to have ice in there too.Not too far from King Street and could walk to all the shopping and restaurants. The only negative was the parking. We have an oversized SUV and trying to fit into the parking next to the building was hard due to the other cars on the street. However, when we reached out they provided a parking pass we could use in the lot next to the property.Would stay again the next time we are in town.
Our stay was fine. I'm giving five stars because there were no issues and the place was spotless. The host was very eager to send information and responded almost instantly to our questions through the app. We didn't spend much time there at all. Just slept there. Here are some things I think others may want to know if considering this place. The place is TINY. The pictures make it look a whole lot bigger. It worked for us since we mainly just slept there but with just five of us (there was supposed to be 7), we had a hard time hanging out in the living room comfortably. You can hear everything. This didn't matter to us because it was all moms and daughters. Couples traveling together might not find this ideal at night time. ;)The neighborhood -- not the best. I wish hosts were required to show a picture of the surrounding block of homes to give an idea of the state of the neighborhood. There is a corner store at about five houses down. It has bars on the doors and windows, if that gives you an idea. Some homes are in serious disrepair on the same street. Check the windows before you go to sleep. Many of them were unlocked and there are no screens on them. Again, everything went very well for us and the place is absolutely SPOTLESS. First impressions were disappointing. I don't think we'd stay here again due to location.*Do NOT rely on just using the city's free shuttle system. It is slow and unreliable no matter what they tell you. Terrible.
