We really enjoyed staying in this beautiful house! The location was stunning - right on the water (which was frozen when we visited- and just as beautiful to witness)! The house has a lot of charm - right down to the knobs. It’s steps to the lighthouse and in a safe charming neighborhood. Sunrise and sunsets can be seen from the backyard and trails down the street. The host, Patricia, was very responsive and helpful! It was a wonderful stay. Thank you!
Thank you so much! We’re so glad you enjoyed your stay and loved the home. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we hope you’ll come back to Saugerties again soon to enjoy the waterfront and all the area has to offer!
Simply wonderful! My husband and I enjoy the property for our anniversary weekend. The view from the deck of the water was spectacular especially the last morning when we decided to have our tea on the deck while playing mah-jongg. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was cozy and warm. The entire interior decor was an escape.

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear that you chose our home for your anniversary weekend and that it gave you the relaxing escape you were hoping for.
That final morning on the deck with tea and mah-jongg sounds absolutely perfect — the views are truly something special, and we’re glad you got to enjoy them. We’re also happy to hear the bed, bathroom, and interior décor all made your stay comfortable and cozy.
We’d love to welcome you both back anytime for another peaceful getaway on the water!
Warmly,
Lauren
We had a great stay to visit our family over the week of 4th of July. The home is nicely updated with fantastic views of the Esopus creek and the lighthouse. Great location. Very quiet and relaxing. The back porch is a highlight with lots of room, a great grill, lights, and fans. The back wall of doors allows full views to the creek from inside. The yard is nicely landscaped. We had a boat and the dock was perfect for lots of fishing as well. I would definitely stay again.

Thank you for the review. We look forward to seeing you again.
It's it's a great location. Everything was good except there were no curtains! We were no able to get restful sleep as the smaller bedroom, as without curtains the room lit up early with sunlight.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Disliked: Communication, listing accuracy
The property itself is stunning—great setup and location. However, my experience with the property manager, Patricia, was deeply disappointing. Prior to booking, I confirmed that kayaks were available and ready to use. Upon arrival, they were filthy and clearly hadn’t been touched in years. Patricia told me to clean them myself, which took hours—on a one-night stay with only a few hours of daylight left upon arrival, this completely undermined the purpose of my visit. When I shared my concerns with Patricia, Patricia was dismissive, rude, and unhelpful. Her lack of professionalism left a sour impression. With better hospitality and communication, this could easily be a five-star property.
