We had a great time at this property. It is very close to the airport. The house is clean and is in a quiet neighborhood. I requested to allow us to check out late since our flight was late in the day and they accommodated our request. The first floor has a bedroom and a full bath, and second floor has four bedrooms and two bath. All the rooms are of good size. It has a fenced backyard. It was nine of us, and it did not feel congested at all.

Host was very communicative. Very easy check-in. For our plans, being near airport was very convenient. Kitchen was well equipped although we did not cook much. A couple of small suggestions: It would have been nice to have hand towels for the kitchen however paper towel was provided. Also in the “owners” suite, there is not a hand towel rack and only the shower door bar for bath towels.We had issues with water not being hot and the owner got a technician over the next day. The Host offered to have another technician come out as the water heater only worked intermittently. It wasn’t possible due to our short stay plans. While we appreciated the promptness in addressing the issue, it ultimately could not be fixed during our stay. Cold showers were not a family favorite!Additionally, the heating system allows the upstairs to get very hot while the downstairs is still cooler. With my elder mom downstairs, we did have to turn the heat to 70 at night so she would not be too cold. It felt like 65 downstairs and 75 upstairs. Perhaps for some families that will work out better than it did for ours.Outside of those two things, we enjoyed our stay.

Over the TOP

Going to a funeral can never be pleasant so you don't need outside headaches involved. It is with a great deal of pleasure that I sit down to write this review as I don't give them out very often and this one is easy. This Host truly went above and beyond and bent over backwards to help myself and my family in this difficult time. The place was really excellent and fit our needs to the letter. Do yourself a favor and book this one because you will not be dissapointed. The REAL DEAL.

Covers the Three C's

We like to review the three critical C's when staying at a short-term rental: Cleanliness, Convenience and Communications. This group retreat near the Indianapolis airport covered all three.It was exceptionally clean and everything was in great shape and well equipped. Lots of nice decor and details throughout the house, including multiple pairs of chopsticks in the kitchen!This doesn't get much more convenient for an Indianapolis stay, particularly if you're using the airport. 10 minutes from the airport, and about 15 to 20 minutes to downtown. And you have plenty of shopping and restaurants very close by, including Walmart, Meijer, and even a Dunkin and a Dollar General within shouting distance.The owners were always quick to communicate when we had questions, and were very professional and polite. If we were in the area again and needed space to sleep a group, we'd have this on our list to check for availability! Thanks to the hosts for everything for making our stay a success!
