Property was clean, extremely spacious and perfect for a large group.Management were great at responding to questions and very willing to help. Could not have went further to help us out. Thank you!
Inside of house very clean, outside was filthy. We had to clean outdoor furniture before we could use. Lots of cobwebs , leaves, dead bugs etc. No chairs on dock except a folding metal chair and plastic chair.

Thank you for your review and for the kind words about the cleanliness of the inside of the home. We're glad you enjoyed your stay overall.
We appreciate your feedback regarding the outdoor areas. Because our home is directly on the lake and surrounded by nature, outdoor spaces can quickly collect pollen, leaves, cobwebs, and insects—sometimes even within a day of being cleaned. That said, we want every guest to enjoy the property, and we'll review our cleaning procedures to ensure the patio furniture and dock are checked as close to each arrival as possible.
We also appreciate your comments about the dock seating and will look at adding additional comfortable chairs for guests to enjoy the beautiful lake views.
Thank you again for staying with us, and we hope to have the opportunity to host you again.
Great house and great family vacation spot. Very accommodating for a large group. Only a few suggestions for improvement. The downstairs bathroom was basically unusable. The toilet wouldn’t flush and the shower pressure was basically a drip without hot water. The deck area by the water was also filled with spider webs and nests. I think it would be an easy fix to get that cleaned up prior to a guest visiting. Other than that, the stay was great.

Thank you so much for your 5 star review and for choosing our home for your family vacation. We're delighted to hear that the house was a great fit for your large group and that you enjoyed your stay overall.
We also appreciate you bringing the maintenance items to our attention. The downstairs toilet is a commercial-grade unit, and unfortunately the replacement parts were on backorder, which delayed the repair. We're happy to report that the toilet has now been fully repaired and is working properly.
We've also addressed the dock area by removing the spider webs and nests and will continue to inspect and clean it before each guest arrives. Being on the waterfront, spiders can return quickly, but we agree it's important to keep the area as clean and welcoming as possible.
Thank you again for your valuable feedback. It helps us improve the experience for future guests, and we hope to have the opportunity to host you and your family again.
We had an absolutely amazing time at this beautiful home on Lake McQueeny. The house was spotless, spacious, and perfectly set up for a relaxing and fun getaway. From morning coffee on the deck, the awesome views of the area and lake, and the convenience of being somewhat close to Gruene and NB, every moment was peaceful and memorable. The home had everything we needed and more. It was clear a lot of thought went into making guests feel comfortable and welcome.A special shoutout to Shannon, the property manager, and Jack the owner who was incredibly kind, responsive, and easy to communicate with from start to finish. They both made the entire booking and check-in process smooth and stress free. We’re already looking forward to our next stay and will definitely be booking again with the same wonderful hosts. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing lakeside retreat or fun stay in the area!
