The grille burners were broken. I have never cooked on worse. We had three dull knives for six people eating steak. Rey few serving dishes. People who rent homes typically eat several at the house.

Beautifully updated home and great location. The kids and I enjoyed our trip and made some great memories. Regarding the home, a few small touches and some TLC and attention and this house would be amazing. I travel 5-6 times per year and stay in VRBO’s half the time so I’m not an overly picky person. The caveat with renting is getting value for your dollar and enjoying the amenities at your rental and unfortunately it fell a little short. The home offered a pool table and a hot tub (2 big items and 1/2 the reason I chose this property). Unfortunately the pool table is unusable. The table is badly off center and the 2 que sticks offered have plastic tips, no chalk or brush and the felt needs replaced as it’s covered in hair and dents all thru the table. The other issue was the hot tub. The hot tub wouldn’t heat above 96 degrees and I messaged the property manager the first evening in the APP and never received a response so we left it at that. Another shortfall was the kitchen. Most of the cookware needs thrown out and as the Teflon is chippin away. There are no sharp knives in the house (no steak knives even and we couldn’t cut a tomato with what we had) so we ventured out and bought a knife and other things for the house including a swiffer wet jet. If you walked around the house for 20 min, your socks are completely brown. All of the aforementioned gripes could be resolved for all of 200 dollars to fix and make the stay wayyyy more enjoyable. Still 4 stars

Super Spacious Cabin

Me and my family spent an amazing week here. The cabin was supper spacious and very family friendly. I brought my teenage nieces and they had a great time playing pool and enjoying the upstairs beds and space. I did bring my bass boat to do some fishing. The parking space is good for parking a boat although I will say the road is a bit narrow and can make it tough to back in a boat if you’re not experienced. Overall though an awesome cabin! Will definitely consider it next time we come up.
