Montgomery Bay Lodge On Lake Gogebic

Montgomery Bay Lodge is a 4,000 sq ft fully furnished, four bedroom, three bath property with wraparound deck that sleeps 10 comfortably. It offers a rustic feel with log siding and extensive woodwork, yet all of the modern conveniences of a newly built home.

The lodge layout includes two bedrooms & full bath on the main floor (1 Queen & 2 Twins), a master suite in the loft (1 King, full bath), and a huge fourth bedroom and full bath in the walkout basement (1 Queen, 2 twins).

The main floor includes a spacious living & dining area overlooking Lake Gogebic through a wall of windows. Gourmet kitchen with cherry cabinets, island with seating for three, granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances. Full size laundry facilities are available in the master suite.

A finished, walkout basement offers a spacious recreation area including flat screen TV, table / chairs, and dry bar with fridge, microwave, and coffee maker.

The grounds cover nearly 8 acres of wooded terrain, 400 ft of frontage on Lake Gogebic, a pier with swim ladder and electric boat hoist, and a fire pit for roasting marshmallows and watching the sunset.

Enjoy WiFi internet and 4G LTE signal throughout the house enabling calls and internet access from your smartphone.

Direct access to groomed Snowmobile & ATV trails at the end of the driveway. Public boat launch, gas, and restaurant / bar all within 1 mile of the property.

Spacious and private, clean and comfortable. The lake is beautiful for swimming, boating, and fishing. Easy access to lots of hiking trails and other nearby attractions, great home base for anything you want to do in the western UP. Great communication from the owner with check in/ out instructions and comprehensive guide to the area that was sent ahead of time. We were there just as a family of 4 but there was plenty of space for larger groups

Three couples trailered our side-by-sides 9 hours to stay for 6 days of fun. Weather didn’t cooperate as much as we’d like but we still had a good time. Minor issues on the property requires some attention…but nothing major. This is a beautiful and comfortable home. The owners are extremely responsive with any/all questions. The Lodge

The Lodge did not disappoint! We rented this for a snow mobile trip and while the trails had not been in the best shape that week the lodge provided us with a great home base. The place is beautiful with plenty of space. We will be using this place again on our next trip.

Great property with a great view of Lake Gogebic! If you snowmobile, boat or fish, it’s perfect, as you can access the property right off of the lake. Lots of room for everyone in the home!

We fell in love with this property because of the privacy and tranquility it provides, its perfect location, and the abundance of natural beauty and wildlife. It is rare to visit without seeing 2-3 Bald Eagles fishing our bay!
