We thoroughly enjoyed this property and the surrounding Loreto Bay community. The beach, the lap pool, and the wonderful cafes and restaurants made our vacation incredibly relaxing. Would highly recommend. And while the property manager was helpful they were slow to respond however the owners were quick to respond and super helpful throughout the process including the evening we arrived.
Great property in prime location with amazing amenities. We have rented many homes in Loreto Bay and typically stay 1 to 3 months at a time, this home had by far the most comfortable of all the beds and the most well stocked kitchen tools and amenities. Would definitely book again.
I came to Loreto with my husband and teenage daughters. We have been maybe 5-6 times and this is our favorite apartment yet. Very clean, fantastic cookware, great location near El Corazon. The owner and manager were wonderful to work with. I had a few questions during my stay and Dawn was very responsive. Highly recommend this place for a couple or small family.

I am so happy you enjoyed our house and your vacation! I hope you will come back and visit Loreto soon and stay with us again!
We loved Eliisa's place! She and her property manager were wonderful to deal with. The home is in a great spot, and the security people and other people who either lived or were staying at Loreto Bay were also very friendly. The home itself was amazing. We loved the outdoor spaces and spent a lot of time in the garden area, reading, playing cards, and visiting. The rooftop space was great for star gazing.
The beds were super comfy, and huge, and we loved the fact that it had two master bedrooms with their own complete bathrooms. The kitchen was very well stocked, and we found everything we needed to prepare our own meals in terms of appliances, and cookware, and there were some condiments available as well. We even found 2 cold beer in the fridge- which we drank upon our arrival, and later replaced.
We used one of the pools, and sat on the beach for a day, and the kayaking and snorkelling were great. We saw lots of great sea life right off of the rocks at the end of the beach. We rented a car, and left the community for day trips, but there was enough to do right there if you didn't want to travel. The grocery store was fairly well stocked and there were a couple of restaurants and a cafe open. I would definitely recommend Eliisa's vacation home.

good value
Very charming 2 bedroom unit. Priced fairly and an economical choice for people on a budget. The unit is laid out nicely and in a good location. Beds were comfortable and the house was clean upon arrival.
Things to improve on are minor however in my opinion it's good to mention for the sake of a fruitful review.
1/ The tv is very old and could be upgraded
2/ basic cable with only 2 or 3 English channels
3/ the upstairs bedroom smells musty
4/ the cable was very slow and unreliable
5/ the water dispenser which is independent of the refrigerator is not cooled and when we change bottles we noticed small flies had gotten inside as it isn't a tight seal.
6/ the bbq hadn't be cleaned forever in the guts of the bbq so it flamed up right away (I took it apart and cleaned it.
These were all small issues for us not a big deal however maybe for some people it would not satisfy them. In conclusion, Eliisa was easy to deal with and accommodating and again her place was priced very fairly and I would recommend it to others.

Thanks Gary, so glad you enjoyed your stay. With regards to the issues you mentioned, the TV has been replaced since your stay. I have alerted the property manager about the water dispenser and the BBQ (thanks for cleaning!). There are not many options for English TV channels that are reasonably priced and many of our guests, including ourselves, are not TV people. Unfortunately the slow cable is just something we have to live with in Loreto... sometimes it's great, other times quite slow :(
Thank you for alerting us about the minor issues you had, can't improve unless we know what we can do better!
We hope to see you again soon!

Dog friendly
I really appreciate rentals that allow pets. We drove down the Baja with our dog and stayed in this rental for two weeks. It's a beautiful area and the home is beautiful as well. The negatives for us, no closet in the main bedroom and the second master upstairs was very musty smelling. We had friends coming for a week and aired it out, but could never get rid of the smell. I wouldn't recommend young children stay here, the stairs are steep and the railing is covered with vines, so hard to hold onto. There is only 1 small loveseat in the living room, so we had to bring in chairs from the patio to make seating for four. There is a keurig on the counter but after a search of all the grocery stores in Loreto, no one sells the kcups. Bring your own! You will need to supply your own paper products and garbage bags too. Also be prepared for the gardening crew to come in once a week. On the positive, there are plenty of towels, the beds are comfortable, beautiful grounds and pools, the local eateries are good and we had a great time. I would highly recommend you have a car to get around.

Hi! I'm glad you had a good time. I wanted to let you know that I bring down coffee pots for the Keurig brewer every time I come there, three boxes just last week. It depends on how many guests use them (complimentary). That is why we also have a regular coffee machine. The Casa Chica's are two levels and the stairs are the same in each home in Loreto Bay. We have had kids and families stay there with no issues with the stairs. The living room is limited on space and our guests love the fact that there are 6 spacious dining spots and 4 additional outside plus the 2 bar stools, as most guests enjoy the outdoor space and don't mind the 2-seat sofa. We will keep your comments in mind though as there may be a need for another sofa/chairs if we can fit it without compromising the rest of the space. As far as the musty smell, this is the first time we have had that comment. My guess is the home was not used for a few weeks and we try to be eco-concious and not run the A/C unless we have guests staying at the house. The home is very well taken care of by our property manager and sometimes it just gets a little stuffed but opening the windows should do the trick... The downstairs master has no hanging closet but has a large armoir, that's just the way they built them allowing for a bath tub instead of a closet there.
We hope you come back to visit us!
We arrived after driving eight days to a dirty kitchen and overflowing trash. Our daughter was locked out (broken doorknob) and fell into a cactus on the patio. We spent three hours pulling and cutting needles out of our baby. No smoke detectors or ventilation in toilet area. There was only one 32 in TV and one couch to sit on. The microwave and dishwasher stopped working after the second week. There is some kind of electricity problem as lights would flicker. No communication with PM except once.
We were looking forward to this as we were meeting with our builder. This place was the only sore spot of our trip. The owners need to talk to their renters as well as the PM more frequently. I sent a email to owners and was never replied to personally.
I would NOT recommend this place until they address these issues.
I would have picked zero if there was a option for that.

Sharon, we are sorry you didn't have an exceptional stay like all our other guests. When you arrived, we had a tight turnover from guests leaving late that same day so the cleaning crew was not completely done with their work. The PM offered to come back and clean a second time even after they finished, which was scheduled with you but when they arrived, you declined it. As far as your daughter falling into a plant, that is very unfortunate but not a fault of the property. As soon as the PM heard the door handle was broken, they came and fixed it.
The properties in Loreto Bay were built in the early 2000's and where the toilet rooms are located there is no ventilation, nor is it required to have smoke detectors in the toilet room. I'm not sure what you were burning in there but there are an adequate amount of smoke detectors throughout the home.
As explained in the description of the home, there is one couch and one TV in the living room. There is no room for another couch. This is Loreto Bay, not the Ritz Carlton.
The microwave has never had issues and as you said, it worked fine the first two weeks. Sometimes appliances break and I'm sorry it happened while you were there. We ran the dishwasher twice after you left and it works perfectly fine. Maybe you just didn't know how to work it properly. It's only two years old and none of our other guests have had any issues.
As far as the electricity, we are in a community where it sometimes is on overload when everyone is using appliances a the same time. Again, we are in Mexico and you have to understand that at times they turn off electricity, water or whatever needs to be worked on, or it's just flickering because the capacity is maxed out. It's the same for all home owners.
More importantly, you had two phone numbers and two email addresses, and we NEVER heard from you about any of these issues by phone, text or email. The PM came over to check on things as soon as he was contacted by you and you told him that everything was fine. I'm very sorry you had to write a review that does not paint the whole picture. Maybe the drive back was as stressful as the the drive to Loreto, but I hope your next stay will be more pleasant and the home you are building will fulfill your desires! It's a beautiful community with lovely people that enjoy everything Baja has to offer, even with some not so perfect situations at times.
After getting tired of staying in hotels while our house wast being remodeled, I booked a last-minute trip to Nopolo (Loreto Bay). Given that I was also rehabbing my knee from a surgery that didn’t go well, my wife and I were a wreck. Thus we were THAT guest who has wants and needs and is always bugging the host for something. Through it all, Eliise was responsive, kind, and perfect. By the end of our 12 days, our souls were restored. (We’re old. Full body restoration takes longer at our age! 😁)
The house floor plan and construction is typical of what you find in the Founders Neighborhood (FN) area of Loreto Bay. As others have noted, location is perfect, though that applies to almost every casa in Founder’s Neighborhood. The beach, kayak rentals, a small but surprisingly complete grocery store, a pharmacy, and good restaurants are all just a few steps away. Two more small grocery stores, a great bakery, and more restaurants are about 1/2 mile away, an easy walk.
The kitchen is extremely well equipped with every gadget you can think of. My only minor gripe is that some of the frypans have been mistreated and are ready for replacement (just like things in your own kitchen 😱). The on-site PM is very responsive.
Upon leaving, we told Eliise about some maintenance items that might need attention. Our home not being ready, we stayed another week nearby. The next day, I walked by and saw maintenance folks working on the items I mentioned. Ignore the lone negative review.

This is my first negative review for a VRBO and has taken me a while to decide to post it. On the positive side, the unit has a great floor plan with numerous private courtyards creating an open air concept. The property manager who helped rectify many of the deficiencies was amazingly helpful.
All the bathroom drawers were filled with used toiletries. One of the showers had a dirty plastic table filled with used toiletries, a razor, and a scrap of soap. There was no hair dryer. There were personal clothes in the closet and hamper. Most of the cabinets and drawers in the home were filled with old stained linens, pillows, cables, etc. There were no knobs on the lights (rendering them useless) in the bedroom along with a broken nightstand. In another bedroom, there were no side lamps and one of the nightstands sitting across the room was filled with cables and other electronic paraphernalia. The living room had only one loveseat. We had to bring some of the outdoor furniture inside to accommodate 4 people. There was outdated food in the cabinets and refrigerator, some outdated for 2 years. There were minimal cooking items and the thermal coffee pot was encrusted with stains. The TV was old and not a true flat screen so we were unable to connect via the internet considering the cable was not working for 2 months (through no fault of the owner).
I write this in hope that the owner will finally correct the problems. I talked to someone in the complex and found a note in the unit reflecting some of the same problems, so I am not the first that had a bad experience. With all the personal items left in the home, I felt like I was intruding on someone else's space.

The villa was not properly prepared by the property manager's team. As soon as we found out about this, the property manager sent a new crew to take care of all these concerns. Of course there should never be left over perishable food or toiletries from past guests. They also fixed the broken nightstand etc the same day. We must have forgotten to disclose that we do leave dry goods such as spices, pasta, coffee, tea, water, beer etc. so that our guests do not need to purchase everything from scratch. It is up to each guest if they want to use them or not. As far as personal items, we have assigned a space for owner's clothing etc. and there is plenty of space for the guests in drawers, closets, kitchen etc. We should also disclose that this is a second home, so there are books, games, magazines, golf clubs, beach toys etc. that the guest are welcome to use. If you are looking for a sterile hotel type environment, then there are other homes or the nearby hotel that are very stripped/minimal with regards to accessories. We have also purchased new bedding etc. since theses guests were there. All the complaints in the above review was properly taken care of immediately. The thing out of our control was the TV and internet service which was terminated for the entire community. Now those services are working fine again.
This was our first time to Loreto Bay and really loved it. It is a safe, friendly, beautifully kept community and we will be back. The Casa was top notch in a great location and we enjoyed everything about it. We spent lots of time in the courtyard and enjoyed using the bikes and the beach chairs were really nice to have. I would definitely recommend Eliisa’s Casa and Loreto Bay.
We loved our stay here. The house was all we hoped for. Very clean and inviting. A great location on the paseo.
Will come again.

Beautiful property, to enjoy breathtaking mountain and sea views.
Eliisa home is beautiful, well decorated and very comfortable. All the furniture and appliances top quality and relatively new. The king size beds are very comfortable with quality bed linens. The kitchen has every small appliance you'll need for your holiday, as well as lots of cookware, dishes, and cutlery. We stayed for 8 weeks and never were without a necessary item. Property managers Dawn and Chris were there to meet us. They're very helpful and respond immediately! They were excellent.
During our stay we rented a car 3 times, one week each, to enjoy site seeing. Almo airport location had good rates and will deliver the car to you in Nopolo free of charge. Within a few blocks is a great little grocery store. It's small but has everything, just ask. Also a short walk (5 minutes) is Pan que Pan Bakery and pizza, and James' Organic vegetables. There many restaurants, all within walking distance.

Casa 136 is ideally located in Loreto Bay.
A lovely casa.....great location. Easy walking distance to all restaurants, beach, community centre, shops. I loved having the outdoor courtyard off the living room. One recommendation I might make is to replace the loveseat in the living room. There is no seating for guests and the loveseat is quite dirty. Apart from that, the casa is well-equipped with linens and towels and kitchen gadgets.

We took our college aged son on his spring break to Loreto.
We have been here before and have yet to have a bad experience with the Loreto Bay Community. There is plenty to do or do nothing at all your choice. Our home this time was no exception, everything was up to par and the property manager came by first day of our stay to see if we needed anything. Will be going back as soon as possible.

Clean, comfortable escape from reality
We spent only a few days at this property in Loreto and wished it could have been longer. We arrived unprepared (without an address--our fault!), but the security office was incredibly helpful, going so far as to bring us to the casa. All of the workers were exceptionally friendly, as were other guests/residents. The casa is beautiful and very well maintained; most importantly, it was clean--everywhere. The kitchen is equipped with everything from toaster to blender and coffee/espresso makers. We enjoyed the lovely patio that is private in a courtyard-like setting; we didn't use the rooftop patio as it gets complete sun and is less private, but both patios are furnished with comfortable seating. Having two bathrooms, both with showers, was great. The beach is a short walk away and wasn't crowded, though it was quite windy when we were there. The village does have decent restaurants/cafes. We were glad to have rented a car (though that was an ordeal at the airport, despite having a reservation) so that we could explore Loreto and drive up the coast, but there are no other towns nearby to visit. This would be the only word of caution about Loreto: you are quite restricted in terms of things to do unless you're a golfer, and if the weather is windy, as is often the case, you're a bit stuck. The community seems to be largely made up of retirees and their guests, so don't expect to experience Mexican culture. This is a very pretty escape from reality.

We are going back!!
We stayed a week in early June 2016 and have already booked for 2017.
First, this casita is located very well. Short walks to cafes, pools, general store and golf. It is right on the paseo, which makes it very convenient if you have a rental car. The casita is nicely appointed with everything you need for your stay, and the bed was very comfy. We had a great time, Loreto is very relaxing and I liked the golf course. Can't wait to get back in January!

Beautiful Area
We spent a very relaxing two weeks in this well appointed casita. We had all the amenities we needed and enjoyed the area. The restaurants were fabulous, kayaking was great, landscaping and walkways beautifully maintained. My husband and son said the golf course was challenging.
We did rent a vehicle without any problems and I think it was necessary to have for exploring the area. Because the casita is on the paseo, it was a little noisier that others may be with traffic and foot traffic, but by 11pm, everything was pretty quiet.
We would like to come back in a couple of years and spend a month in beautiful Loreto Bay.

Eliisa's Casita is a Pefect Romantic Getaway
We spent a week in the Casita enjoying the quiet laid back atmosphere of Loreto Bay. It was a wonderful change from the big crowded locations we have been to in the Caribbean, Hawaii, and Mexico's big resorts like Cabo. Most evenings we walked up or down the main street to one of the great restaurants located in the village. A car is good to have to explore and drive up to San Javier Mission for a day.
The Casita was well equipped with everything we needed. Comfy beds, big walk in showers, the roof top patio gets just the right shade in the afternoon to enjoy the breeze and read a book or have a cocktail. Great place in a great location. Thanks.
