Great property and great location. Spacious for our big family of 12 big kitchen and large dining we cooked one big breakfast and 2 suppers plenty of room for everyone to eat. We made a lot of great memories with our children and grandchildren. Road up to house from main road was challenging on our harleys but we love a challenge. Would recommend and will definitely consider on our next visit. Neighbors and neighborhood quiet, we saw deer morning and evenings right below the deck.

Great Boone Escape!

We really enjoyed our stay at Hickory Hollow. Lots of space for everyone! After the rain on Monday and Tuesday, the weather was perfect….sunny but lower humidity. We vacation every summer in Boone and this is one of my favorite places we’ve rented.

The Host was very quick in responding. Except VRBO must have had a glitch and our check in communications weren’t going through. Once I called VRBO because we couldn’t access the house, our communications started going through again. So weird! Ounce we got into the house, everything was fine. Plenty of space and our pups enjoyed the outdoor space. We saw 4 deer while there so that was a nice surprise. The road is one lane and steep to the house but never had an issue with other cars. We loved the location. The quietness of the woods yet easy to get to West Jefferson, Boone, Blowing Rock and the Blue Ridge Parkway for exploration. Cellphone service was spotty so when my son had an emergency and needed me, I just went downstairs til I found a spot I could call him. Would stay again.

This house was a beautiful rustic cabin in the woods with modern conveniences. Was very comfortable plenty of room to spread out. The beds were extremely comfortable. The host was thoughtful and had many of the forgotten necessities there for us to use. I would definitely rent.
