About this property

Cozy modern cabin located on large parcel one mile off the main road.

Cabin 3 features include a private queen size bedroom, daybed and loft with two twin beds. A small kitchen area well equipped with microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, electric skillet and dinnerware provided. All linens provided. Living area includes television, table, chairs and armoire to store your belongings. Heating unit and ceiling fans make your stay comfortable and cozy. Relax on the front porch and enjoy wildlife on the pond. Enjoy a barbecue on your picnic table and fixed charcoal grill. Step out and enjoy the trails for hiking, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, ice fishing or snow shoeing. Area lakes feature beaches and boat launches. Or you can day trip to Baxter State Park, Katahdin Iron Works, Moosehead Lake region, Gulf of Hagas, Appalachian Trail or a night at the Bangor Casino. For historical enthusiasts, a trip to Campobello Island and visit the Franklin Delano Roosevelt homestead for a high tea. Finally, for the golf enthusiast, there are two public courses within a 5 mile radius, very inexpensive. Truly a retreat to recharge your soul and reconnect with nature. Area restaurants less than15 minutes away.

This was our second time staying for a weekend of snowmobiling. You can access the trails right from the property which is super convenient. The cabin itself is very clean, comfortable bed, and plenty of conveniences (wifi, TV, microwave, toaster oven, hot plate, coffee maker, fridge/freezer combo, hooks for hanging gear etc). There are also several options for getting a bite to eat as well as grocery store, Walgreens and a Family Dollar for anything you may have forgotten. Looking forward to another stay - maybe next time with a UTV in another season. Thank you!

Tiny....

While the cabin was immaculate, beautiful and well maintained, I was not prepared for how tiny it was. I had a hard time sleeping, the bedroom was barely big enough to fit the bed. If small spaces don't bother you, it's perfect! I didn't stay for the 2nd night I had paid for, I felt claustrophobic. It was a beautiful camp!

Valentine’s Day Weekend Visit

My fiancé and I reserved a cabin for Valentine’s Day weekend and we had a wonderful time! The owners were friendly and the property is beautiful. If you’re looking for a quiet spot away from the noise, this is it! They provide all of the dish-ware, linens, and toiletries you may need and even gave us some chocolates since it was Valentine’s Day weekend. There was quite a bit of snow, but they even cleared a trail through the woods so visitors can go for a walk. Overall, the owners were very thoughtful and the cabins are in a beautiful spot. We will definitely be keeping this property in mind if we take another trip to Sebec!

Excellent location and even better service.

We were looking for a rental in the area to access the many lakes and ponds for ice fishing. The owners were quick to respond and provide all the information necessary for directions and check in. Once we were there, they called and made sure we were all.set and made us aware of a local fishing derby, and local eatery suggestions. Hospitality at its' best.

It's hard to believe that this beautiful setting is just a little over a mile off the main road! The cabin was comfortable, the setting beautiful. I wish I had booked for a lot longer--but there's always next time!

Super clean & cozy

The cabin was very clean and comfortable. There was plenty of hot water, the heater was quiet and moved the air well. The beds were comfortable & Brenda (the property owner) and her dogs very friendly. I would recommend the property to friends.

Great stay

Brenda extended us to check in early, although we couldn't due to work. Bed was comfortable, place was clean upon arrival and lights were put on since we were arriving in the dark. Nice quiet safe place to walk the dog every morning. We would definitely book again.

Wonderful place to stay.

My husband and I spent 4 nights is cabin #3. It was an excellent experience start to finish. Brenda replied to all our questions before arriving quickly. Our cabin was super clean and cozy! There were plenty of outdoor adventures to do and Brenda has lots of suggestions on places to go for groceries, eating out or fun day trips. My husband and I will be returning again (soon)!!

Beautiful setting

Brenda is a wonderful hostess. Extremely helpful and answers questions before and after arrival quickly. If she didn’t know the answer she found out the answer fast and got back to me. Highly recommend this beautiful, quiet cabin.

Peter and I moved here from Cape Cod 10 years ago and love the quiet and peacefulness of this 375 acre property compared to the busy seasons of being oceanside on the Cape We have 4 dogs who love all guests and will be seen on walk along the driveway or observing you from our gated deck.

What makes this property unique

One mile off the main road on a winding road, crossing over a causeway by the pond , Only 4 miles one direction to town for supplies and 14 miles to the nearest state Park, Peakes Keney. Trails surround the property for long walks in the woods, all circling back to us.
